Writing this so others don't make the same mistake we did in thinking that when it states "luxury B&B and self catering accommodation" that the luxury applies to the self catering, because it doesn't. We paid £125 per night in tastefully decorated but quite average accommodation. The welcome was friendly but the smell in the place was awful, the previous... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at Boreham Manor. Obviously we are disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay as we aim to make everyone's break as relaxing and special a time as possible. I was a little surprised by a few of your comments as they seem in such contrast to... More

We stayed here as a family (children aged 4 and 6) whilst visiting Longleat recently. It was truely a wonderful experience! Location - set in a few acres with it's own little lake and river the setting is perfectly rural, yet you can walk into town in just 20 minutes and Longleat is just a few minutes by car. The... More

We stayed at Boreham Manor for 2 nights over the Easter weekend with our 2 children (2 & 7), using it as a base to visit Longleat. We wanted somewhere a little bit special, but homely and family friendly as it was also my husbands birthday. It really turned out to be exactly what we wanted. We stayed in the... More

If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing break in great surroundings, look no further; its all here, our host Alexis is warm, welcoming and made us feel 'at home' from moment we arrived. Also recommend dinner at Angel Inn in Heytesbury.

My girlfriend and I, with her two kids, stayed in the Wylye suite for two nights, using it as a base to visit Longleat Safari park. The room was extremely large, easily accommodating two single beds for the two girls and still leaving plenty of space for the usual clutter that two young girls require! The room furnishing and decor... More

We stayed here for the weekend and found it to be truly superb! Alexis makes you feel very welcome and has lots of info in the rooms for the local area, especially on great places to eat - would highly recommend The Snooty Fox! The breakfast was cooked to perfection each day and the breakfast room was really pleasant with... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Boreham Manor. Our hostess Alexis made us feel welcome, and recommended an excellent place to eat (from a longer list that she provided). We were in the Hummingbird Suite on the second floor of the three storey house. The room is large, with beautiful wallpaper, a very comfortable bed, and a view... More

what a lovely B&B Boreham Manor is... comfortable and charming with a stunning garden and bathroom, we were thrilled to stay there. Alexis is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, even my twin girls were impressed! We slept like babies in our huge bed... We will be returning on our next visit to Longleat.

We stayed here for two nights when visiting Longleat in August and can't recommend it enough. Julian and Alexis are great hosts and my two girls loved their cats and chickens! The room was very comfortable and the facilities were great. All in all a great find and only 10 minutes drive to Longleat.

Room - We stayed in the Hummingbird Suite, clean and stylish. Bathroom outstanding, large "rain" style walk-in shower, also nice deep bath and "His 'n Hers" sinks! Bed is very large and comfy. Single bed also provided in room for our son, this was comfy too. Location - Great for Longleat Safari Park / House, 10 mins drive at the... More
