We enjoyed an excellent lunch with all three generations leaving after a most enjoyable meal. Roaring open fire, welcoming staff and regulars made the whole experience one that we will repeat. Nice beer and generous portions followed by fresh coffee is my food heaven.

I walked in off the street on a cold, gloomy night totally new to the area and had a drink and a laugh with the locals and the staff. Rooms small but adequate,Poor reception on TV. Pub very olde worlde in nice village. Food very disappointing, plenty of it but overcooked. Microwaved pies! Large dog in bar area makes a mess with toys etc.
