We go to Church Farm twice a year and have stayed for weekends with children and without. It's ideally located being so near to Bath with beautiful walks close by. Winsley the village where Church Farm is fantastic with a great pub and a super farm shop near by with a cafe (so basically you don't need to leave the... more

We have just returned from a half term break staying in Vellum Stone cottage. It was clean, cosy and well equipped, we received a friendly welcome and tour of the facilities-the fresh cream tea was a lovely bonus. We visited Bath, Longleat, Stonhegne and Wookey Hole all within reasonable distance. The owners were always polite and helpful, we had a... more

Visited Bath with my wife to enjoy some of the sights and relieve some retail therapy back in August for a weekend break. The City is a true stunner and only 10 mins drive from Church Farm. It was nice to return to the more peaceful countryside however and relax in our own cottage in the evenings. The village pub... more

We stayed here (late availability) for 5 nights so that we could explore the area, including Stonehenge, Longleat and Bath. Having a pool was an added bonus. The cottage we stayed in (Bury's) had everything we needed, and was very clean. The Seven Stars pub, a few minutes walk away, is well worth a visit. We didn't meet the cottage... more

Looking for a last minute getaway from London for the May bank holiday weekend, my boyfriend and I (24 and 25) booked a Church farm cottage. We were originally planning to focus our visit around Bath but having arrived (with rented bikes up a very steep hill!) we were very pleasantly greeted with the Wiltshire countryside and ended up spending... more

We chose to stay at Church Farm Cottage as we wanted somewhere close to Bath but as it has an indoor pool its nice for the kids too. We were a bit disappointed. We let the owners know that we were arriving at about 8:00 pm, when we got there we collected the keys in an envelope but there was... more

We had a weekend in a 4 person cottage and had a really nice time. As it was January we were the only ones there and had the use of the pool & games rooms to ourselves. There was a generous cream tea waiting for us in the cottage when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The cottage was... more

We hired a cottage for three of us, whilst 4 others camped on the campsite. It was a lovely place and the owners could not have been more helpful. The cottages were converted from old barns and we very modern and cosy. The campsite had washing machines and drying facilities aswell as fridges and the normal shower block. I would... more
