There was eight of us all together staying in the Farmhouse at Haddon Grove. We all thought it was superb - very clean and very comfortable.....the site itself is a lovely picturesque setting. The rooms, tv, settee, were tiny. The loo didnt flush, mould round sink and bath, I needed some where to relax with my little girl after losing her father .I am four months pregnant the two seeter settee had no padding ,all we got were three pillows for their rock hard old settee ( said it was their old one)... more

Chatsworth cottage exactly as described; spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings and very welcoming with biscuits, chocolate for son, fresh flowers and even pint of milk in fridge. Lovely location, nice to have pool and leisure facilities on site and great free use of dvd's. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay (a bit more of the sun would have been even nicer!). Definitely go... more

We didn't stay in the hotel we stayed on the campsite it really cheap and a beautiful walk in and out, I've been here before and I know I'll go again. more

We were very impressed with the standard of homely touches provided with 'extras' e.g. pump soaps, hand towel in the bathroom, a chocolate frog in the welcome pack as it was realised that we had one (or more) small children with us. The cottage, site and location far exceeded our expectations. Ideal for cycling and walking and enjoying nearby Bakewell. Lovely attention to detail within the cottage and grounds. Smashing pool and games room with loads of leaflets and ideas for things to do. Highly recommended!!! more

I can't believe that I managed to find a venue that pleased 25 extended family members (and 3 dogs) aged 18months to 75 years for mum's 70th birthday celebrations! The cottage for two was lovely and clean, fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. Surroundings were great, right in the middle of the peaks but not too far from Bakewell. 'Leisure Room' was brilliant, with a heated pool and information on things to do. Really good value for money. We would definitely go back! more
