A nice authentic country pub, decent food, log fires and good beer. Tucked away on the edge of a nice village in the peak district. Although the menu isn't massive it had everything you would want in a pub. Excellent real ales. What more could you want!

Had a lovely lunch here with my wife and our daughter. It offers a wide selection of good ales. The food was good quality pub grub, freshly prepared; tasty and decent portion sizes without being stupid. Busy with walking types.
