David was so easy to deal with as I booked 5 rooms for all the family to get together to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by him and shown to our rooms, each with incredible views. David and Marylyn have been here for 4 1/2 years and clearly all of their hard work has paid off. The rooms are great, comfy beds and very clean. The Robertswood hotel is a fantastic B&B that offered us a friendly service in beautiful surroundings. The Hotel is situated in a picturesque part of Derbyshire. We had a three night stay at Robertswood. After an excellent, and ample breakfast, we explored the surrounding, beautiful, countryside. It was very convenient to avail ourselves of the evening meal, which we also found excellent. more

Have just returned from a very relaxing time at Robertswood. It has a lovely setting overlooking Matlock very peaceful and comfy rooms just like a home from home. Very good value for money offering great home cooked food ,the breakfast will set you up for the day with a varied choice to suit everyone. Plenty of places around to visit... more
