We found this accommodation at late notice, for our 1st wedding anniversary. A very polite couple own the Elton guest house and rent out 2 cottages on the same street - Pepperpot Cottage, for 2 persons, and Two Gates cottage for 4 persons. For an unbelievable price of £2.50 each per morning we had a wonderful breakfast (cereals, probiotic yoghurts, fried breakfast, juices, tea etc). You can opt for self catering minus this cost but we found it to be well worth it. Accommodation was cosy and equipped with all mod cons and a very comfy bed! GCH, fire, microwave, terrace at the rear of the cottage, and a local pub which opens from 8.30 each night. Food is served at a nearby pub in the next village Winster, which is 1 mile away. Excellent base for exploring the surrounding area - only 5 miles to Matlock, 10 miles to Dovedale, Chatsworth etc. and all main attractions.
