Lantallack is an extra-ordinarily beautiful place run by gorgeous people! We stayed here in the early summer of 2012. Polly's Bower is a luxurious, beautifully converted, achingly romantic, secret hideaway. If you stock up in the (high end) supermarket in Saltash on the way to Landrake then you won't have to leave the cottage once here, and once you have... More

We stayed in Polly's Bower in September 2012 and couldn't have been happier with the time we spent there. We arrived in the evening and in the midst of a gale to a pre-lit fire and sparkling lights in this amazing converted barn in the east Cornwall hills. The owners of the cottage were fantastic, so welcoming and helpful while... More

We stayed in Polly's Bower for our wedding at Lantallack (two nights in total), and would absolutely recommend it as by far and away the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Every element of our stay was of the highest quality - the cottage itself is charming and beautifully decorated - I was a particular fan of the luxurious... More

My wife and I stayed in Polly's Bower cottage at Lantallack in April 2012. We were completely burned out from work and in poor spirit. On arrival at Lantallack, we were greeted by the incredibly friendly owners who got us settled in within a few minutes. They gave us all the privacy we needed. After our brief tour of the... More

Such a wonder place! This was our second time to Lantallack staying in Polly's Bower and it was fab. From the minuet you arrive there is a lovely warm welcome and of course the fantastic view. There was everything we needed within Polly's Bower and the welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. Defiantly booking again and would strongly recommend to... More

I had the wonderful experience of celebrating my wedding at Lantallack in July 2010 and the subsequent night in Polly's Bower. My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Lantallack and it is the best place we're ever stayed. The newly renovated Polly's Bower offered luxurious accommodation with every last detail thought through. We were delivered a basket... More

We were a party of 4 stopped and stopped at the Lantallack B&B for a friend's wedding (the wedding also being held at Lantallack). I have to say this is possibly one of the best B&Bs that we have all ever stayed in, especially when we consider the price we paid. The room standards are exceptionally high, the owners have... More

We were so pleased to have found such an immaculate and pretty cottage, with seperate accommodation for extended family members, but not so pleased to find out upon arrival that children were not welcome in Polly's Bower as planned babysitting went out of the window! (Perhaps this should be mentioned on the website) We made good use of the surrounding... More

We visited Lantallack with our daughter and family. We stayed in Polly's Bower, and my daughter in Pippin. We found our cottage very clean, and comfortable, well equipped, and warm. My daughters was the same, but she had a few issues, as she had children from 5mnths - 10yrs. I would not recommend small children staying here, as there are... More

We were really fortunate to find Lantallack - and ideal location for visiting relatives and hitting the beaches at Freathy/Tregantle. The cottage(s) were all clean, comfortable and well appointed - and the pool was a definite plus! Would recommend unreservedly.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Our accommodation includes two beautifully converted cottages - Polly’s Bower, an idyllic romantic hideaway for 2 people and Pippin Cottage for 6 people - both have stunning views over unspoilt countryside and stand privately in their own grounds.Polly’s Bower This is a romantic retreat that has been converted from a 300-year-old apple-crushing barn into a beautiful, contemporary open-plan hideaway for two. All the old peg beams and trusses have been restored sympathetically, retaining much of its original charm. On a sunny morning, you can enjoy breakfast on the patio outside, taking in the view of the orchard, or on a cold day curl up with a book on the settee in front of the log-burner (after a lovely hot soak in the big freestanding bath upstairs!). There is an additional shower, beautifully hand-made fitted kitchen and inglenook dining area (where the apple press once stood). A welcome hamper of local goodies greets you on arrival.Pippin Cottage This delightful secluded cottage was once Lantallack’s old coach house. It has two bedrooms with super king double beds, a comfortable bunk room, a bathroom, an additional shower room, an open-beamed sitting room with log fire and a lovely hand-made kitchen. It has its own private driveway and a large enclosed garden. French windows lead on to the patio where you can sit and watch the sun go down across the valley. A welcome hamper of local goodies greets you on arrival. Both cottages have TV/video, CD/ipod-player, dishwasher, log fire, washing line and access to onsite laundry with washing machine and dryer.B&B We also offer 5-star Gold Award accommodation in the house, in two double bedrooms (one en suite, the other with private bathroom). Both are inviting with deliciously comfortable beds, pretty cushions/throws and extra treats. The atmosphere is relaxed and informally friendly to ensure guests feel at home and enjoy their stay. With regret, we do not cater for children under 16 or for pets. ... more   less
