for the price we paid i wasnt expecting much, we only needed a night stopover so went for the reduced rate room, was pleasantly surprised. The pub is very easy to find, on one of the main roads into sudbury but because the accomodation is at the back of the pub we did not hear any noise from the road. We was as i said in the reduced rate room which is attatched to the pub, we was there on a saturday night when there was live music at the pub and the room did get some noise drift thro. tho if you have the tv on it blocked out the pub noise. The room itself was large, spacious, clean and well equiped. couldnt fault it. especialy for £35 for the night, cheaper than a travelodge. we enjoyed a couple of drinks in the pub and sat in there beer garden which was tucked away very secluded and peacefull. will deffinatly use again next time we are passing thro.

oh and the chinese takeaway next door does a great chow mein. more
