Tine and Stephen are warm and friendly hosts, with great senses of humor, and the most incredibly tasty cooking. At jungle blues you will experience beautiful views, the sweet calm of silence, and lots of time to rest, hike, paint, write... or whatever suits your fancy in the quaint village of Bario.

We stayed at JBD for several nights. Very idyllic setting overlooking rice fields. Stephan and Tine were very friendly and accommodating, giving sensible advice on hikes and walking routes. The food was great (the wild boar stew superb) and the conversations interesting. Highly recommend staying here!
