We stayed during the racing festival. Very nice place. Comfortable and would highly recommend. Listowel itself is a nice town. adn the people are very welcoming. Plenty of things to do and some nice pubs and cafes spend the evening in. Had a lovely meal in the Off the Square cafe. more

The Listowel arms hotel looks nothing from the outside. Its looks small and old. Once your inside that all changes. It has a warm welcoming feeling to it. Its bright and airy and much larger then you would expect. The Bridal suite is one of the nicest I've ever seen. With a french Balcony looking out over the River and... more

This is a comfortable hotel with a boutique feel and great service. We were attending a wedding at the Hotel and decided to stay on site for convenience. The wedding itself was amazing and the staff were great! If anyone is looking for venue's in the area then this is ideal and cant be faulted! The rooms are quite small... more

I recently stayed at the Listowel Arms while attending a relative’s wedding. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Ireland. The staff was wonderful! They never once missed an opportunity to impress me with their dedication to customer service. Everyone we dealt with seemed eager to help us out in anyway they could. Everyone and I mean everyone... more

This is a local pub and restaurant as well as a place to stay. It's a bit in need of a facelift in places but the beds are comfortable, everything is spotlessly clean and staff are helpful, efficient and welcoming. It's a relaxing place to be. Sitting outside by the river watching the swallows as the sun set was a... more

I spent 5 days in Listowel at my companies office. I stayed at the Listowel Arms. The hotel was lovely. The interior deccor and the rooms were great. On arrival I was given a room with two single beds and a shower. I rang down to reception and asked if they had a room with a double bed and a... more

My sister decided to get married in Ireland. 14 of us stayed at the Listowel Arms. We all thought is was the most charming place. The rooms were warm and comfortable and the smell of peet blew throuh the windows. Some of the rooms had beautiful views. The staff was wonderful, helpful and warm and really helped our party. The bar/restaurant... more

I stayed there an evening with my two daughers. I did enjoy the dining area having a chance to meet up with some relatives from Listowel. The room was nice, but we did have a slight problem with the plumbing. The service was warm & friendly. more

I have stayed here a few times and - having experienced both the ordinary and the executive rooms - I can confidently state that it's worth paying Euro 30 extra for one of their executive rooms. Most of the higher priced rooms look out on to the River Feale and the "Island" racecourse. The panoramic view is worth paying extra... more
