Agree with all that has already been written about Sheila Rohan's attention to every fine detail. We arrived to a lovely hot drink and melt-in-your-mouth cake in front of a nice warm fire. From there we walked a few minutes to the lovely beach and were delighted to watch a trainer putting a thoroughbred race horse through its paces as... more

Near the centre of Castlegregory, Castle House is within easy walk of the Spar and Chemists and also within a short easy drive of Jamie Knox's windsurfing school and the many superb beaches in the area. Castle House itself is a very pretty building, in lovely surroundings, the rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable, especially the lounge which on... more

We cannot say enough about Castle House B & B in Castlegregory. We arrived around 17:30 and were immediately offered coffee or tea and cake to enjoy in the common room. It was delicious! The home was spotless and all our requests were met with prompt, courteous service. We were able to walk to the beach after our refreshments and... more

We travel a great deal to Ireland and have stayed at many B&Bs, but nothing compares to Castle House! Ever since we first discovered this wonderful home away from home, we've returned time and time again. Sheila's warm welcome, the fantastic breakfast and the large, beautifully furnished rooms inspired us to organise guided tours to Dingle Penninsula. All our guests... more

Castle House is situated right at the border of the village, so it is only a few metres to the pubs, but also not far to the beach. Quiet location, from the window of our room we could watch the cows in a pasture. Mrs Rohan is friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and had beautiful furniture. The... more

I was mothered from start to end. Sheila, the bean an ti (woman of the house) here is great - and what a cook. Breakfast great each morning and cakes a plenty thrown in throughout the day. Spotlessly clean and great value. A communal room for guests too with an open fire, television and books. A real home away from... more

I recently stayed in Castle House during a visit to the Dingle Peninsula,. Normally I stay in hotels but having heard great things about Castle House, I decided to stay there and I was very happy with that choice. Castle House is a purpose built, modern B+B but has some really pleasant old fashioned furniture and values - as soon... more

Immaculate house and rooms within walking distance of the village and beach. Shelia (past housewife of the year!) provides a very warm welcome as well as some exceptional tea and cake everyday (We even got some lovely hot apple pie one evening). Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. more

We stayed in this guest house for two nights as we were going to a wedding in the area. We were plesantly surprised when we saw our room, it is a lot better than many hotel rooms we have stayed in. The room is furnished with antique furniture and is spotlessly clean. The minute we walked through the door, we... more
