This place is in a GREAT location, especially if you like to surf, windsurf, dive, etc. It's way out there at the tip of the peninsula. Beautiful views of the harbor. I mean, WOW. Super cool. Now, onto the hotel itself... The rooms are in desperate need of upgrades. And, who doesn't like a little TV when they're on holiday?... more

I stayed for one night and loved the place. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was also well equipt. The views of the harbour from the room were amazing. The b&b was large and felt almost like a hotel which I liked. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this place to friends. more

The Hotel is on the whole newly renovated. The rooms are okay while toilet and bath facilities are not spacious. The rooms are cleaned upon your arrival not every day. Breakfast is of normal quality nothing outstanding. While the hotel is located very nicely in a superb Irish surrounding the next medium budget place like Spar can only be reached... more

Website (gullivar travel ireland) says guests are greeted with HOT SCONE on arrival, not a mention of a scone hot or otherwise, On first night we decided to eat dinner in Islands restaurant within hotel, I ordered the 10oz sirlion steak, medium-rare, what I got was a steak of under 5 ozs,and a slight grey colour, it did have some... more

Myself and my girlfriend had the pleasure of staying in Harbour House back at the weekend of Good Friday. I'm only getting around to posting my thoughts on the whole experience now. I was so genuinely impressed with the standards, hospitality, food and overall friendliness that I had to post a review, albeit a little late! I knew nothing of... more

My Partner treated me to a lovely night away in a ‘B& B by the sea’. The location of Harbour Hse is to die for as you make your way around a narrow coastal road you come upon the wonderful stone fronted Guest Hse. We were so genuinely impressed with our stay our room was spacious with a huge four... more

Not up to standard, alot of rubbish strewn around outside, have no idea where they got their stars. Cups, silverware, table not really clean, entrance wall caved in. A bit of a kip really. more

After 4 hours drive from Dublin, we were expecting to get to a nice hotel in the Kerry coast with an advertised leisure centre. Just to mention that we are a young couple (29) and we just wanted a nice place for a couple of nights, nothing fancy, just nice and comfortable. Well, the hotel is more of a hostel... more

We at Harbour House welcome all feedback but instead of, an inaccurate review we would appreciate if guests would bring all issues to our attention during their stay giving us and them the opportunity to put any issues that may arise, right, while they are staying with us. It is very hard to offer any come back when no issues...

Arriving in Tralee in mid-afternoon with two days unbooked in Kerry, we found the Tourist Information center and quickly got some recommendations for lodging, including Harbour House. Since we had the time and daylight to keep on driving to Castlegregory (where my family is from), we chose Harbour House, which is up in the Maharees above Castlegregory proper. At Harbour... more
