My husband and travelled from the UK to Kerry and fell in love with Kenmare it's people, location and wonderful setting. We googled campsites in Kenmare, and through to a wonderful man at the Kenmare Park hotel which is a sister location of Dromquinna Manor. We were in a slight pickle as we had a 3 month old and we... Drunquinna is in a spectacular setting. We were lucky to have good weather while there and it did make it enjoyable as you could spend time in the sun. However it very overpriced for what you get and you're very dependent on the weather. With the price they charge your expectation of what to expect is much higher than what... More

I was so looking forward to this ... heading off with husband for a weekend away living it up under the stars... Dromquinna is undoubtedly a beautiful place and the house looks gorgeous I would think for weddings etc, however the glamping experience is a big disappointment. I was built up to expect a hotel-room in a tent, but it... More

Went for a drive to Dromquinna to see the whole offering there. It is a gorgeous location. While day was wet we still enjoyed visiting. Went into the boathouse and actually really enjoyed ourselves. Much Sangria and tapas later we enquired about rooms but waitress told us that only camping was available. This was very disappointing as I had choosen... More

Our daughter recently had her wedding reception in Dromquinna on August 25th. When we saw the Manor in the winter we were completely reassured that the venue would be fully refurbished by the date of her wedding, and it most certainly was! The attention to detail was second to none; the staff, led by John Brennan, could not have been... More

Had a delicious lunch on the outdoor terrace of the Dromquinna Boathouse on a sunny Sunday afternoon. There was a choice of tapas, pastas or pizzas and everything was fresh and tasty with generous portions and friendly staff. We'll be back!

Spent two nights in in one of the family tents recently (2 adults + 2 kids). Very different to spending two nights in a hotel. No hustle & bustle, no TV's. Very relaxing time. All of us enjoyed our stay. Beds were super comfortable & we all slept very well. The onsite facilites (shower & toilet block + the kitchenette)... More

Celebrated with friends recently at their son's wedding and the experience from start to finish was magical. The host John Brennan was "hands on" and enjoyed the banter as much as the rest of us. The setting is like a picture postcard and the words haunting and enchanting spring to mind. The grounds are super for strolling around with pre-dinner... More

Just returned from a brilliant Glamping weekend, our group occupied nine out of the twelve tents & we had a great time. We got tent no 12 which had a STUNNING view of the lake, tent no 10, 11 & 9 also had perfect views while the other tents had minimal views and you would need to walk towards the... More

Stayed in Dromquinna for one night romantic break, didnt know what to expect but was very impressed. On arrival was greeted and given all necessary info as a 1st time glamper. Shown our tent which had a fabulous view out over water. Beds were amazing and even though the night was wet and windy we were snug in our bed... More
