We stayed with the O'Shea family for three nights in June with our two children and mother-in-law. It is very conveniently located just outside Kenmare on the Ring of Kerry and provided a great base for touring the Beara Peninsula and Killarney National Park. We stayed in the family room with our children which was very spacious and comfortable. The... More

Lovely B&B with scenic views. The owner was very friendly and very helpful pointing out the local points of interest. The breakfast was great and lasted us for most of the day. The accommodations were also very clean.

O'Shea's Ceol Na Habhann is the best B&B we stayed in while traveling Ireland. The B&B we stayed in the night before arriving at O'Shea's was a big disappointment so we were a little leary. That went away as soon as we were greeted by Therese and quickly served tea and scones on lovely china. Therese's scones and homemade jams... More

As part of a driving tour of rural Ireland, the Ceol Na Habhann was a grand experience. The freshly baked scones win the "Best of Ireland" award and the welcoming attitude of the hostess was memorable. It's a bit of a walk down the hill to town, but that's a good way to walk off the obligatory Guinness sampling in... More

Warm welcome, great location, helpful hostess and delicious breakfast, with pancakes and fresh fruit! A beautiful and peaceful stay: delicious after you have run the Beara way. Pieter and Lammy Otter / Holland

I just love Kenmare and on a recent trip with my fiancé and mother, we decided to make a week end of it and stay over. We booked in with Therese who was warm and welcoming. We stayed in rooms 2 and 3, which were both newly and tastefully refurbished. The rooms were directly across the hallway from each other... More

I loved Kenmare! Such a beautiful, quaint town. And so colorful! But Mrs O'Shea was so gracious and offered us tea/coffee upon our arrival. I love Irish tea! Breakfast was fantastic! My husband had the full Irish while I had beans on toast and the scones!! My favorite thing : ) It's true it's not a far walk into town... More

Myself and my husband are return visitors to Kenmare and this wonderful Guest House. Therese is the owner of the home and always welcomes us back with open arms. It was a delight to receive the freshest homemade scones every morning and delicious pancakes to set us on our way for the day. Therese has in depth knowledge of the... More

We were doing a whirlwind tour of southern Ireland and trying to squeeze in as much as we could. We stayed two nights at O'Shea's. The bed was average. The bathroom was frigid cold. Kenmare was a great little town for exploring, but my DH refused to take the walk along the highway to town, so we had to drive... More

I stayed here former times. This time it was also good, but I did not like funghis in the shower (strong!) This is a real health aspect and akes away 2 points from the ranking. There was good WIFI and the rooms are spacy. It is too far away from downtown (2-3 km) for those who have no car. I... More
