My partner and I spent a night at the Limestone Lodge. We didn't make a reservation but were more than welcome. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. The downside was the shower which was a bit chilly. The breakfast was really nice with fruit, yoghurt, toast and a choice of porridge and Irish breakfast. I can highly recommend... More

My husband, son, and I stayed at Limestone Lodge in a triple room. The room was plenty big and the beds were comfortable. We did have some trouble getting the room warm enough (it was in January). The breakfast was excellent, and Maria was very accommodating. The lodge is easily walkable to town, yet it's far anough away from all... More

A lovely spot, lots of space in our family room, a normal welcome, some restaurant tipps, short distance into town, a good sleep, and a delicious breakfast. So we got all we needed, a nice and well-equipped place with friedly atmosphere.

Lovely large rooms - we had a triple and a double room. Cosy beds with loads of extra pillows and breakfast was made to order. Charming and helpful hostess Maree was most accommodating. Very handy location to Tourist office and an easy walk home from any of the pubs after a great night out in a funky town. Most enjoyable... More

This B&B has a character. Only a couple of rooms located above the landlady's house make you feel like at home. We had a very big room with french-style windows facing the backyard lawn. Water in the shower was very hot and 'couldn't figure out how to cool it down a bit. The en suite bathroom was large too. The... More

This property is probably the most intriguing and spiritually located B and B we have ever stayed in. Limestone Lodge is "rock solid" on top of this amazing rocky hill with a perfect walking distance just outside of town across a beautiful river, and minutes from a 3000 year old stone circle. (The circle and grounds were AMAZING). There is... More

Proprietor - Siobhan O'Sullivan - a quiet but very nice lady. A bit chilly in our room but it was a rainy cold day, Very clean and nice place. A pleasant short stroll into town (over the bridge and down the lane)

This was the only negative experience in our travels thru Ireland. The mattress was just unbelievably lumpy. Also, there was no warm water in the evening or the next morning.

I stayed here with friends for one night, on a motorcycle trip around Ireland. Kenmare is a beautiful town, situated where two peninsulas meet. We arrived after a long day of travelling, and were made to feel very welcome by the owner (a superb craftswoman who made much of the lace which decorates the house). The Lodge was purpose-built as... More

The guesthouse is located right off the main street which is nice if you want to get some sleep. It felt like a mountain lodge. It was very clean and the rooms were a good size. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was cooked to order. The owner is very sweet. I will warn those that the place is... More
