My wife and I love to walk / hike and because of this Kenmare is one of our favorite destinations for a weekend break of walking and relaxing. The location of this hotel is excellent as it is very close to the town centre, there is a pathway that leads from the hotel towards the town. The hotel itself very... more

Horrible Experience: English girl with blonde hair at reception tried to overcharge us. Pete the Barman was absolutely horrible throughout our meal and in general the staff made this uncomfortable. more

12 of us stayed here as part of a hill walking tour of Kerry and it was marvellous, the food in the hotel was outstanding and quality and service did not suffer even when the dining room was full. The rooms and leisure centre were top class and the location was as close to the town centre as you would... more

We stayed for 3 nights b&b with one evening meal in a superior room midweek. Overall the hotel itself looked very nice, was quite clean and we enjoyed the gym and leisure centre. The problem was the service in the restaurant and the restaurant itself. Morning one for breakfast was fine.... not too many dining so maybe that was why!!!... more

We stayed in the Kenmare Bay Lodges - never saw the inside of the hotel so can't comment on that. The Lodges were beautifully decorated with everything you could think of laid on. more

My husband and I stayed for two nights in a superior room. Parking was easy just out side reception, we found reception staff quite un welcoming. Our room was large, clean, but had the most un comfortable pillows ever! Breakfast was lovely first morning, but rather cold on the second day. The evening meal was over priced for the quality... more

Arriving in kenmare the hotel was perfectly situated within 5 minutes walking distance of Kenmare town. The holiday home we stayed in was absolutely lovely, it was like a brand new house, with 3 bedrooms, one ensuite & a bathroom downstairs also. The kitchen had all the facilities you needed & sitting room also. The holiday home was directly across... more

What a wedding day, courtesy of the Kenmare Bay Hotel; 6 months previous we flew over from the UK to meet the very friendly and helpful Sue. Within 20 minutes we were sold not only by the hotel itself, but the extremely professional and friendly staff and the very very competitive price they offered us. Once we agreed on the... more

We arrived at hotel for weekend break for family occassion. Intial impression was that hotel was classy based on the interior of reception. However, we were fooled. On leaving reception we were met with poor and dowdy interior as we went up the stairs in search of our room. Staff failed to offer any help with our luggage although we... more

I recently had a group of 180 Senior Citizens from Dublin visit the hotel for 5 days. Check-in for such a large group went off very well. Meals were excellent with sufficient staff to look after all. The interaction between Management / Staff of the hotel and our Group was excellent and I must compliment the General Manager, Andrew who... more
