The staff is what shines here! Lovely Anne, the day manager, is very gracious & assures all your needs are met. The breakfast's are something to look forward to each morning (check out the scones!). Located just a nice 15 min walk from the village center. Perfect for walking off the after dinner fulls. more

Having been moved to the Lodge because our original choice because of boiler trouble, we were a little apprehensive given that this place normally closes end October. As it proved, we needn't have been because from beginning to end our stay was excellent. Rosemary proved to be a most hospitable and friendly landlady and her establishment the epitome of comfort... more

Stayed here with friends last weekend - 2 nights. It was our third or fourth visit and their first.....both of us loved it, our friends especially as they had the four poster bed!!! Clean, high end decor and staff that are the epitome of Irish hospitality - nothing too much trouble. Breakfasts are always a treat here, both in terms... more

Just back from staying at this guest house. I have to say that there were several aspects of the accommodation that I found appealing, and loved, then there were some which were just ok. The location is fab. the building is modern and the rooms are spacious, warm and comfortable. The ensuite bathrooms are cleaned to perfection, with a great... more

The Lodge was one of our most memorable stays in all of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The service was outstanding and the room was exceptional. Every night when we returned, the bed was turned down and there were chocolates sitting on our pillows. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with ideas and information about the area. We told... more

Stayed here for a few nights. There was 4 of us in our group and we were all impressed by the hospitality we received. When we arrived we were given tea and freshly made scones in the lounge. Location is good just a few minutes walk outside Kenmare. Breakfast was great - the smell of soda bread being baked in... more

I was amazed to see a room the size of a decently rated hotel in this upmarket B&B. We had two double beds which was a real treat. The people were really friendly and we had a great bathroom. They even turned down the beds and gave a chocolate on our pillows! A little more attention to cleaning the difficult... more

We enjoyed our two night stay at The Lodge, Kenmare. It is within 5 minute walk of Kenmare centre and very convenient for the Ring Of Kerry. The guesthouse itself is beautifully decorated and the staff were all welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were large and delicious. more
