I stayed with Margaret in 2007 as well and was more than happy to stay there again this year when the Traditional Music Festval for Munster was held there. (The Fleadh). As previously, the room was well adequate for a single traveller, and I didn't mind the view of the car park! Kenmare is a lovely place to stay and... more

Two years ago I stayed with Margaret at Riverville House. I enjoyed the stay so much that my friend and I booked another night this fall, while driving the Beara Peninsula. Margaret is absolutely a gem, and her home is lovely and spotless. The surroundings make you feel like you have just come home. Give yourself a treat, and stay... more

We stayed for 2 nights with Margaret and Fergus at Riverville House and had a pleasant stay. The house is well located, only a few minutes walk from town, but very quietly situated. We were offered tea and biscuits when we arrived, and they will make you a pot of tea on request, as there are no facilities to make... more

After checking your travellers' reviews for Kenmare B&B's, we booked our group of six (all in our 60's) in for a stay of four days at Riverville House. The contact by email was very efficient and our host, Margaret, answered our questions promptly and accurately. Riverville House is about 5 minutes walk from the start of the main street in... more

My wife and I stayed at Riverville House 1 night. Margaret, the owner, made us feel welcome. She helped guide us there via phone (we had a hard time finding it) and had tea and snacks for us. She provided suggestions for dinner and places to see in Kenmare. Our room was an attic conversion; the room was clean and... more

Stayed here for two nights. The place is beautiful. The nicest place we stayed in Ireland for 70 euros. Great location about 5 min walk from town center. Owner was great, offering suggestions about where to see. more

We stayed at Riverville House in Kenmare for 3 nights. The location is great, just a short walk to the town center. The view from our room was spectacular. We were originally given a room at the back of the house, but the other couple asked if we would switch rooms with them. We wound up with a great view.... more

We travelled throughout Ireland for two weeks in September and The Riverville House was one of our favourites, Margaret is a wonderful hostess and offered us tea and biscuits after our long day of travel and gave us excellent advice. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms were immaculate and the bed very comfortable--a queensize, not a double.... more

Location: In proximity to Kenmare (walking distance) and the Ring of Kerry, you would be hard up to beat this location with private parking without the tourist-fest that is Killarney. Hospitality: Margaret is our all-time favorite B&B host (so much so we have visited twice). Hot breakfast each morning and a huge help in getting around, finding good restaurants, and... more

nice welcoming people who were always willing to help out. However very narrow bathrooms with faulty pluming. No tv and tea/coffe making facilities in the bedroom. Also way too much pine in the house. Brekfast nice more
