Do yourself a favor when you stay in Kenmare. Stay at the Riverville House......you will not be disappointed. It is a little gem tucked away with only a 3 minute walk from town.....but hidden away enough that you will feel you are tucked away at a cozy little retreat. It is cozy, roomy and pretty. My husband and I stayed... more

Great B&B located just a 5 minute walk from the Kenmare pubs. Margaret (are all of the B&B hosts in Ireland named Margaret? I'm 3 for 3 so far) is a very welcoming host who makes a fantastic breakfast and keeps excellent en suite rooms. If I had to suggest anything, it wouldn't be that there is "too much pine"... more

We stayed in Riverville House in Kenmare earlier this week and it was a charming stay - the B&B was wonderful, enjoys a great location just a short stroll from Kenmare town centre. Margaret our host was wonderful and cooked a super breakfast on both mornings. Most of all, Riverville House was excellent value for money. We'll certainly be back!... more

Beautiful and clean home set within colorful flower garden conveniently located within easy walking distance of downtown Kenmare. Both Margret and Fergus, being classically trained chefs, set a very tasty and artistic breakfast table. They provide access to a computer with high speed internet and even helped me solve a flat tire problem. We highly recommend their B&B. Peter more

I stayed with Margaret in 2007 as well and was more than happy to stay there again this year when the Traditional Music Festval for Munster was held there. (The Fleadh). As previously, the room was well adequate for a single traveller, and I didn't mind the view of the car park! Kenmare is a lovely place to stay and... more

Two years ago I stayed with Margaret at Riverville House. I enjoyed the stay so much that my friend and I booked another night this fall, while driving the Beara Peninsula. Margaret is absolutely a gem, and her home is lovely and spotless. The surroundings make you feel like you have just come home. Give yourself a treat, and stay... more

We stayed for 2 nights with Margaret and Fergus at Riverville House and had a pleasant stay. The house is well located, only a few minutes walk from town, but very quietly situated. We were offered tea and biscuits when we arrived, and they will make you a pot of tea on request, as there are no facilities to make... more

After checking your travellers' reviews for Kenmare B&B's, we booked our group of six (all in our 60's) in for a stay of four days at Riverville House. The contact by email was very efficient and our host, Margaret, answered our questions promptly and accurately. Riverville House is about 5 minutes walk from the start of the main street in... more

My wife and I stayed at Riverville House 1 night. Margaret, the owner, made us feel welcome. She helped guide us there via phone (we had a hard time finding it) and had tea and snacks for us. She provided suggestions for dinner and places to see in Kenmare. Our room was an attic conversion; the room was clean and... more

Stayed here for two nights. The place is beautiful. The nicest place we stayed in Ireland for 70 euros. Great location about 5 min walk from town center. Owner was great, offering suggestions about where to see. more
