Neil and Noreen are wonderful hosts. They are always helpful in giving information on what to do in Kenmare and in the local area (Ring of Kerry etc). The breakfast was of high quality and plentiful. The B&B and my room were very clean and well maintained. Parking was available on the street (which may be a problem in high... More

these people were great hosts. We could not ask for more. Neil and his wife were super. We had a great stay. They recommended a band at the Coachman Pub. Neil said that the guitar palyer was the "best guitarist in Ireland", and he was right. I cannot say enough good things about theirnplace. Very good breakfast and nice all... More

My family stayed at Virginia's Guesthouse one night during a three week visit to Ireland that included Christmas and New Year's. After visiting the numerous sights in Killarney National Park, we stayed the night in Kenmare. The town was cute and inn was terrific. The hosts couldn't have been any nicer. More

... our first night of our journey was to Kenmare - when planning itinerary it was hard to decide whether to spend the night in Killarney or Kenmare and we were so glad Kenmare one! Virginia's Guesthouse was the perfect choice and whether a brief stay like ours or longer the location was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

After a 2 week trip touring around Scotland and Ireland, what a nice and welcome surprise to have saved the best service and experience of them all until last. From the first moment of meeting Noreen until the very last, we felt we were treated like family. Nothing was too much trouble. Noreen couldnt have been more accommodating and was... More

Not only are hosts Neal and Noreen artisans of Irish hospitality, their breakfasts are sheer perfection. During my recent 6 night stay at the guesthouse I was able to sample nearly everything on the menu and each dish got an "A" rating (A+ for the plums poached with star anise and cardamom served over yogurt...as well for the banana pancakes).... I spent 4 nights at Virginia's Guesthouse, and it was wonderful. The location is wonderful. We could go shopping or have a meal, and then walk back. The room was charming. I was not bothered by noise, and there are earplugs available. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was the "best". I had porridge most mornings with a wee touch... More

We greatly enjoyed our time in Kenmare, and a lot of that we owe to the hosts Neal and Noreen. We arrived around dinner time and just happened to catch Neal on his way out to dinner. He had one room left and was gracious enough to show us to our room, help us with our bags, introduce to his... More

Hosts Neil and Noreen Harrington are gracious and welcoming. Good value for the money and would definitely send my family and friends there. Kenmare has lots of great restaurants so you won't go hungry. Parking could be a problem in very busy times as the hotel is on the main street. If you want quiet, reserve a room to the... More
