That's how we would describe our stay at Virginia's guesthouse. We stayed for three nights in a superior double as part of our 2 week Ireland holiday. Everything was spotless with nice homely touches like a teddy bear on a chair. The room had an extra seating area which proved ideal for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. Neil... more

Thank you so much. You were both "perfect" guests and we missed you when you left. Yet again, we have to say that reviews such as this one give us the encouragement to keep on going..

My husband and I stayed in Virginia's Guesthouse for two nights in June. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Neil and Noreen are very accomodating and made helpful travel suggestions. The pear and blue cheese special was so good I had it both mornings. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Charming touches in the rooms, including a teddy bear. Easy, free, on-street... more

Feeling of fast food type service lacking the Irish hospitality that we were so well versed with.Internet not available from our room. Convenient location for the commencement of your Ring of Kerry tour. Foleys a fantastic pub on the Main road to listen to Music and Indulge in a perfect drop of Irelands Guiness. more

We were sorry that we did not live up to the expectations of this Australian Couple, who spent one Friday night with us in June. We were fully booked on the night in question and therefore very busy with all of our guests and maybe we were not able to give them the individual attention that they obviously expected. From...

We had a great 2 night stay in Virginia's and wanted to stay longer but Neil and Noreen were fully booked. The B & B is very comfortable and the library with maps, books, a fridge, fresh milk and spare phone chargers is a great idea. The bedroom was good with free internet access, a great shower and those fluffy... more

Six of us stayed at Virgiania's in May, 2009 for two nights. It was an excellent choice. In the heart of the town. Convenient walking to everything. We were a little worried about the noise on the street, but after 11:00pm there was no noise (we were there on a weekend). We were given excellent recommendations by the owner on... more

We just returned yesterday from a 9 day trip to Ireland with our daughter & son-in-law. We stayed at 4 different places on this trip, and Virginia's (and Kenmare) were unanimously the best by far. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations in terms of convenience and amenities. The breakfasts were worthy of a 5 star restaurant. Neil and Noreen... more

I had a grand time at Virginia's. Neil and Noreen were extremely accommodating and helpful. The location is perfect, and when I stayed out late one night it was a cinch to just walk back and even though the front door was locked, Neil had taken the time to show us how to get in through another entrance (Virginia's shares... more

We spent a night at Virginia’s Guesthouse in late April. Neil and Noreen couldn’t have been more welcoming. Our room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was very good, cooked by Noreen. That’s why in Kenmare, they continue to be so highly rated on Tripadvisor. more
