We stayed at Coachmans for four nights in June, one extra night than scheduled. It was our first time in Co. Kerry and very happy to have selected Coachmans as our hotel. Kenmare was a nice town for us, not too busy or crowded, but big enough to have a selection of good shops and restaurants. It is a good... more

Room was nice but it looked nicer on their website (as usual). Very clean. Very friendly. Good music in the bar but it was a bit late starting. If you slept on the first floor you would need to like music. Great location with lots of restaurants and pubs offering food nearby. There is a place 1km outside town on... more

My friend and I literally walked into the coachman hotel in Kenmare last saturday as our B&B reservation didn't work out for us as it was too remote, so we asked the Manager at the Coachman if it was possible to get a shared room with two double beds, and yes, it was, we asked to see the room, as... more

Quiet, clean, good value and friendly. For the price it is very hard to find fault with this place. more

My wife and I spent two nights at Coachmans in Kinsale in Sept 2008. Our room was a nice-size, immaculate double on the second floor with comfortable-if-minimalist furnishings and a very nice modern bathroom. An elevator and wide halls made it easy to deal with luggage. The hotel has no dedicated off-street parking but there are free public lots very... more

This place is fantastic. It was completely renovated a few years ago, and the decor and amenities are far beyond what you might expect at a B&B in this part of Ireland. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and the bathrooms even have heated floors! If you're looking for the quaint look of the typical Irish B&B, you won't find it... more

This townhouse was recommended by the Kenmare tourist information office as being a very nice townhouse intown and their recommendation was right on. Excellent location on main street in Kenmare one of the loveliest towns in Ireland if not the loveliest. By far the nicest town we visited during our 2 wk stay and we found some very lovely towns.... more

This hotel is right in the heart of things, has a nice restaurant and bar, and the owner is exceptionally helpful. The music in the bar is top notch. The room we had faced the street, and I worried that it would be noisy, but it wasn't really. The room was very spacious. more

This place ticked all my travel requirment boxes, it is well located with helpful local staff. The bedrooms are large and spotless with great big windows. It was only when the Kerry rains came down we realised how good we had it as the Coachmans had it all under one roof, good food, good drink, good music and great people.... more

We just returned from our 10day trip to Ireland/England and stayed 2 nights at the Coachman's Hotel. We had stayed in 5 different places during our trip and all of them were wonderful. The Coachman was located right on Henry street which is one of the main streets thru the town of Kenmare. There is a bar/restaurant below and at... more
