Like other visitors to this hotel, we found it a huge disappointment and certainly not worth the fairly substantial cost for a two night stay. The location is superb but that is the only positive thing about the hotel. We really should have used TripAdvisor before booking. We hadn't realised the hotel was so family-friendly and, as a retired couple... more

We went to the Dingle Skellig for my 54 th birthday. The hotel room was small for an hotel of that price and not very clean (stains on chairs, shower durty). The restaurant was awfull : first the service done by incompetent waiters. Asking for champagne put the restaurant in great difficulties, the waiter did not know about it, brought... more

Very children orientated hotel with nice pool, kids clubs, cinema/DVD room. Breakfast was OK, view over dingle harbour nice and staff were helpful and friendly and room had LCD TV. However I would highlight the following – hotel is very dated décor-wise especially the rooms and bar. Our room was poor in size but worst of all had a lot... more

My two friends and I stayed here for two nights in July and considering that we paid 110 euro each a night for b&b, we do not feel that we got value for money. The room was very small for three adults and the breakfast was unremarkable. There was no sign of the usual selection of breads and pastries that... more

I stayed in the Dingle Skellig Hotel for two nights in July. From the outside we were a little disappointed as the hotel could do with a lick of paint. But inside the hotel was really nice. The bedrooms were very confortable and the views were fantastic. The only problem we had was the fact there were very young children... more

We thought that the Dingle Skellig Hotel was great for people with kids. So many hotels don't have anything set up for children but the Skellig's has a kids club and a games room and a creche. My two really enjoyed it. Also, the food was very healthy for the kids and the food in the restaurant was lovely. They... more

The Dingle Skellig was supposed to be special treat for my guest and me- who had like many others, rented a car to explore the West Coast. The overall reception, service, and feel of this hotel utterly horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. I would have preferred to stay in a hostel. Not a stranger to driving... more

Recently my husband and I stayed at the Dingle Skellig Hotel for a couple of days. Our stay was amazing. We stayed in one of their suites and felt like royalty. The suite was very spacious with a huge bed and great views of Dingle Bay. At first, we found the reception area a bit dated but the rest of... more

I spent two days at this hotel. To be fair, it was Easter week and the school holidays were in full swing so my comments must be kept in this context. The arrival was fairly bland. The entrance is quite unnoticeable, carparking dominates the beautiful scenery and the assault on the eyes with the awful decor in the lobby didn't... more

If you are looking for a comfortable hotel with a great location on the bay of Dingle, the Skellig hotel is the right choice. You will enjoy the size of the room (mine was simply huge, with two bathrooms and a studio), the internal swimming pool and the truly magnificent breakfast you can have looking at the see early in... more
