Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything about Heaton’s is wonderful. From the minute you enter the door you are welcomed by David/staff. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and, of course, very clean. No problem sleeping on the comfortable mattress and pillow. The nightly chocolate might have helped. The breakfast….not enough superlatives or words to describe. Cold buffet items but the cooked items must be experienced. From omelettes to Eggs Benedict and many other delicious choices. The highlight, for me, Bread Pudding. Could have made a meal of it. White linen tablecloths/napkins. Every afternoon delicious chocolate cake and tea/coffee are available.

Top class. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel very welcome. We booked a suite which was well worth the extra for the room and luxury. The people, food and service in Heaton's are five star. Can't recommend it highly enough for a relaxing break away.

The last time i stayed here was during covid. I thought the place was fantastic then. So i came back to see it post covid. Simply put it is fantastic. i am the type of person who likes to get value, well this is great value. In a beautiful setting on the water in Dingle, 5 min walk to town is possibly the best value i have had in a long time. If it has any faults i can’t think of any. The rooms are lovely, affordable, Coffee and home chocolate cake on arrival, pales by comparison to the breakfast, simply amazing, all home made, massive selection, i don’t think i have had a better breakfast anywhere, including any 5 star hotel in Ireland, or Mcneans bistro. Staff are fabulous, David who runs it is a gentleman.

Stayed 2 nights at Heatons Guesthouse in Dingle. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a large number of choices. There was a delicious chocolate cake and coffee/tea in the afternoon. I also enjoyed the option to purchase cocktails/wine. It was nice to sit and have a cocktail and talk about the days adventures. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Recently stayed for two nights, the cutest rooms with the fluffiest pillows, little chocolate each left every day. Rooms are so clean! Breakfast is Devine with so much choice. After your day out and about come back to complimentary tea/coffee and a slice Heaton’s famous chocolate cake while you relax and take in the beautiful view on its door step! A little Gem, can’t wait to come back!!

The team at the Heaton’s was one of the best I have ever met. Our family has traveled the world and this was one of the best experiences we have had. From check-in to check-out (and beyond), the experience is personal. The staff was so helpful, approaching us with recommendations on what to visit and when and giving us their personalized attention. The location itself is unbelievably beautiful and the team there is more like extended family than staff. Our young girls loved it and felt at home. The breakfast was superb and extremely well done with lots of delicious choices. To top it all off, my daughter left several of her books there. We contacted the staff, who searched for them and ultimately located where my daughter “hid” them. They then mailed us all 5 of the books. We definitely look forward to a return visit and would recommend this place to anyone.
