We stayed there for 2 days, and I must say we loved it. We booked 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 triple, both of them huge. The bathrooms had a reasonable size, and the views... just amazing. Mary was great at giving advise on where to go, and very helpfull with our "special" needs on the breakfast, witch btw was... more

This is what ireland is meant to be about, kind friendly people, ,great value for money and amazing views. Mary and Dennis filled us with so much excellent breakfast, we could hardly eat until evening! The living room with books and brochures looked lovely, but with all the help and expert local advice from the owners ,we hardly had time... more

Clean. Accommodating hosts. Free WIFI. Book exchange, sitting area and supply of local brochures (of what to do/where to eat) in shared area downstairs. Double room came with additional twin bed and was very big. Hot tea/coffee en suite. Breakfast was great and options including traditional Irish, scrambled with smoked salmon, and scrambled (or fried) with bacon. Porridge, fresh fruit,... more

First impressions very good;looked nice from the outside and when we were invited in we were not disappointed;the house is lovely. The owner Dennis was very friendly and was enfusiastic about letting us know about Dingle. We had a big room at the front of the house which i am sure must have had the best view,Dingle harbour/port in the... more

First impressions of this house were excellent;the front of the house looked very inviting and was beautifully presented.i especially liked the bistro style tables outside(where you could sit and look at Dingle bay)from an elivated position , the shrubs and borders and the attractive looking house. These are the things that made me think that this place was worth checking out.... more

Stayed here for two nights during our trip to the Dingle Peninsula. The house has an amazing view and our room was clean and quiet. The hostess Mary was a delight! There's ample parking in the car park and only about a 10-15 minute walk into the main part of Dingle. It was my favorite B&B during our trip. more

We really enjoyed looking out over the ocean from the house. This B&B was just outside of the town of Dingle. It was perfectly located for touring the pennisula. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. There was a comfortable reading area that my husband enjoyed. The breakfast room was light and airy. Our table was next to the front window... more

The pictures can't do justice to the beautiful views from The Lighthouse. This is such a terrific place -- great location, lovely property, good breakfasts, and helpful hosts. We spent 2 nights in Dingle and this was just the perfect location for exploring the peninsula, downtown, etc. Our room was very comfortable and roomy and The Lighthouse is in a... more

One of the nicest B&B during our trip to sunny (!!) Ireland in May 2008. Big, absolutely clean room, nice view, quiet location (10 minutes walk to town – 15 minutes for returning back up the hill after hanging out in the pubs), tasteful and generous breakfast and very charming innkeepers. more

Our first, but not last, trip to Ireland and the country was as beautiful as we had heard. Two B&B's that greatly added to our having a great trip were the Lighthouse in Dingle and The Shelmalier House in Athlone. Both were spic and span, super location(close to the town and shore), great accomodations, and wonderfully hosted. Our hats are... more
