My son and I were traveling through Ireland and stayed 1 night with Jimmy. We loved everything about our stay. This B&B was about a 15 minute drive from Dingle city. It's location is stunning, there are cows and sheep right outside and a little stream in walking distance from the adorable house. Jimmy made us to order the best... More

We stayed here over the weekend and couldn't of asked for a better experience. Jimmy and Noreen were very friendly but not pushy, We were given accurate information to all local attractions, The breakfast was tasty( especially jimmys home made pudding) When we were going to the beech jimmy sent us on our way with a towel to lounge on... Coill An Rois is a gem of a home situated in spectacular scenery, where you feel you are experiencing the best of rural Irish life. Jimmy is a warm and gracious host. He makes the best scones and cookies and his breakfasts are delicious. I particularly enjoyed the experience of porridge and baileys! The rooms are large, spotless, and have... More

This place has the most amazing food and is a wonderful B&B. Jimmy (the innkeeper) is fantastic. He's a jovial and kind individual who makes you feel incredibly welcome in his home. His scones are the most amazing things I've ever tasted and prior to this I didn't even think that I liked scones! Everything else he cooked/baked was top... More

We have just had 6 wonderful nights staying at Coill An Rois which although about 10 minutes out of Dingle itself is just the perfect place to stay. Jimmy is a fantastic host who greets you when you arrive with a pot of tea, fresh scones and muffins baked just that morning. That was repeated each afternoon when we returned... More

Had a fantastic stay at the Coill An Rois. Jimmy is an excellent host. Upon our midday arrival, he greeted us with coffee, muffins and cookies and spent time talking to us about all there is to see in Dingle. The B&B itself was roomy and comfortable. The farming surroundings gave you a taste of life on a farm there.... More

The highlight of this visit -- as confirmed by others in the reviews -- is your host, Jimmy. Coill an Rois "Queel an Rozh" was immaculate, and Jimmy's niece took excellent care of us when Jimmy had other business. His breakfast was fabulous -- ask for the Bailey's on top of your porridge starter. In the spirit of full disclosure,... More

Ahhhh....... what to say about Coill An Rois....... We just got home from 10 days in Ireland. We stayed in 9 B&B's and this was our absolute favorite! When we arrived, Jimmy welcomed us in and served us tea and scones ( his scones are incredible). It felt like we had just stepped into our own home, so comfortable and... More

Pros: -Jimmy is a great host. He greeted us with coffee, cookies, scones upon arrival. He was the most friendly owner we encountered during our trip. - Honestly the best breakfast ever. You can start with porridge which I was apprehensive about it at first but it grows on you and was rather addicting. Then he has scrambled eggs with... More

Four of us spent two nights at Coill An Rois. Excellent situation to enjoy the natural beauty of the Dingle Peninsula and the fabulous coastline. Right in the heart of the countryside and ample choices for places to eat. Jimmy was an excellent host and a great cook - he baked my husband the best cream/chocolate birthday cake ever! Would...
