I'd give Coill an Rois six stars if I could. Staying with Jimmy is like visiting your favorite uncle who spoils you with tea and cookies and muffins and fresh eggs from the chickens out back. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves the two nights we stayed, and Jimmy made us feel like we were family.... more

The Dingle Way has recently been re-routed and now goes right by Coill An Rois near Ballyganeen. The food and hospitality are terrific. We had a super dinner at the B&B. more

Jimmy Bruic's b&b is right on the Dingle Way walking trail. It's a very comfortable house, and Jimmy Bruic is a wonderful host. He greeted my walking comrade and me with tea and homemade scones, and he talked of the area, New York, and returning to his dad's farm. Plan to eat there; Jimmy's an excellent cook, and the craic... more

Dingle was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland and this comfortable B&B only added to the pleasure and joy of the trip. Jimmy's, the proprietor's, hospitality is a testament to the friendliness and generosity of the Irish and he will make you feel right at home. And his cooking is some of the best we had on... more

Coill An Rois and Jimmy made our stay in Ireland. Yes it is a bit out of town (about 10 mins) I found this an advantage. It was so pleasant to wake up in the morning and not have any traffic noise just the sounds of the countryside out your window. The rooms are all wonderful and large and its... more

Coill an Rois was the first B & B where we stayed in Ireland, and upon reflection our unanimous overall favorite. Jimmy has the true gift of hospitality and a gracious sense of humor that made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The house was very cheerful (lots of windows), clean, home-like and surrounded by beautiful country views a few... more

Our experience at Coill An Rois was the best bed and breakfast and dinner experience we had during our week stay in Ireland. The location was a bit further out of Dingle than we expected, but was worth every mile. The setting is beautiful and quiet, and just what we needed after our rather frantic pace up to that point.... more

Our experience at Jimmy Bruic.s Coill An Rois was, simply put, the best bed and breakfast experience during our week stay in Ireland. The location was a bit further out of Dingle than we expected or desired when planning our trip, but the location a bit further out of Dingle was so exceptional and quiet and scenic that we applauded... more

This is a wonderful country B&B, Jimmy is a warm and welcoming host who has deep roots in the area and is and was a fount of knowledge on the culture and history of the Dingle. His breakfast was superb as were his scones on arrival. we agree with all the other positive contributors, but a year after our our... more

except Coill An Rois! This review is way overdue, we visited in Sept. of '08 and had a wonderful time. We felt right at home from the second we arrived. Jimmy, the owner, sat us down with a lovely cup of tea and goodies when we arrived and chatted away with us. I have never felt so comfortable meeting someone... more
