There is nothing like being welcomed back with open arms and a warm Irish greeting! Jimmy, from the moment you met us at the door to our last chat sitting out in the sunshine the day we left, you made our stay just perfect. If it was comfortable our first stay with you, then this stay was like coming home... more

We stayed two daysat Jimmy’s place. It was pure chance since this was part of package trip. It is one of our two best B&B experience (the other being Ardmore in Clifden). We can confirm all the nice things said about the locations and rooms. The best part however is Jimmy’s hospitability and cooking talents. Jimmy converted us to Irish... more

I only have positive things to say about Coill An Rois. We were only going to stay one night and we ended up staying 3 nights, and enjoying every moment. Jimmy, the host, is wonderful, fun, friendly and helpful. He's an excellent cook and so we really enjoy the breakfasts and tea with scones. We were hiking the Dingle Way... more

Immaculately clean house, hot showers with 3 shower heads and a jacuzzi bath tub. Top-notch breakfast as the host is a chef by trade. He offers a wide assortment of breakfast choices, from waffles to pancakes, to cheese and fruit plates (some of the cheeses come from his brother's nearby farm!) to Bailey's porridge to a full Irish breakfast. Always... more

From the moment we arrived, Jimmy treated us with the most gracious hospitality. As we viewed the video of Dingle, we were served hot tea and freshly baked cookies and muffins. Our breakfasts were delicious with many choices beyond the normal Irish breakfast menu. I am a travel agent and I now know why Coill An Rois is ranked #1... more

My husband and I found our stay at Coill An Rois to be absolutely delightful. One of the best stays at any B&B ever....and we have stayed at a lot. The location is wonderful. A 10 minute drive into town......but far away onto the Dingle Pennisula so that you feel you are really tucked away into the country. The scenery... more

I stayed with Jimmy for only one night, which was unfortunately all I had time for. I would have happily stayed longer. Jimmy was a truly welcoming, kind and helpful host. I arrived late in the evening and was greeted with tea and a heaping plate of scones and muffins. I was able to read through some of the books... more

The Dingle Peninsula has some of most spectacular scenery in Ireland and Coill An Rois is an ideal location from which to explore. Breakfasts included eggs collected that day, cheese made by your host's brother and homemade sausage, biscuits and scones. Enjoy a few minutes with host Jimmy learning the secret of his daily baking. Jimmy will lend you a... more

Just returned and still have jet lag, but in reading andyvaj's words I must refute and say this: Andy, next time get a room at the Holiday Inn and you will be happy with your remote TV. After all, this is why you went to Ireland, right, for the TV? My 3 sisters and I have travelled a lot and... more

Our recent trip to Ireland was highlighted by our stay at Jimmy Bruic's Coill An Rois bed and breakfast. This B & B has something very special, Jimmy, the proprietor, is a man marked by kindness! His hospitality is the icing on the cake at this wonderful country home. Coill An Rois is a beautiful 6 miles from Dingle town... more
