Just a one night stay but rooms were fine, food was good, staff very friendly, and bar service good. There was a music session in the bar the night we stayed which was very good but it was very much an older crowd having a few drinks with some food, so this suited us fine. This all added to the... Small cosy hotel with pleasant staff and clean rooms. Food was good but heat was a problem - no heating or water! Sorted next day but not in time for morning shower which had to be missed! Finding a power point for the kettle and hairdryer was challenging but discovered eventually on an extention lead under the bed from the... More

If you are staying at this hotel make sure you are booked in before you arrive as they had no details of our booking. The girl on the desk was very helpful and sorted it out quickly. Our room overlooked the street and if you are on this side bring earplugs as the pub across the street empties at 2-3 in the... Have stayed here a few times when fishing in Foxford. Rooms are small but clean and feel modern. Buzzing bar on main street with lovely food below. Real fishing, friendly community but noisy at weekends which is to be expected when fishermen/women get together! Concessions if fishing. Free wifi. Breakfast service slow and random but food grand!
