Handy side of town in that it was close to the pub we planned to spend the night and is also really close to one of the best gastro pubs in Mayo, the train and bus station. The hosts were really friendly and full of chat. A nice touch was a reasonable selection of DVDs available in the hallway. The... More

I recently stayed in Abbey B&B with my girlfriend. It was a great find as we passed through Ballina while on holiday in the west of Ireland. We were given such a wonderful welcome from the two hosts who were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our room was spotless and spacious with a beautiful en suite and great shower!! We... More

Abbey was the perfect start to our holiday after flying in to nearby Knock Airport. The welcome was warm and genuine, the location was outside the town but very close to the excellent Paddy Jordans pub with great food and music. Our double en suite was very spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also huge and had... More

What more could you want? How about throwing a load of our laundry through the machine and hanging it all out to dry, no charge?! Great hospitality!

Totally enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Great choice of breakfast, rooms spacious with ensuite and beds were comfortable. Accomodation spotless throughout, very central to the town, would highly recommend this to anybody staying in Ballina. Owners very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I stayed here in February, with 3 others, and have to say that it was such a lovely stay, very warm house, heat going all day, and very clean.. Every thing about this house was quality. We stayed for 2 nights, as we had booked another b&b close by for 3 nights, but we all were less than pleased with... More

Stayed for 3 nights at this B&B whilst visiting family. Very welcoming and accomodating hosts. The room was spacious, however, the bathroom was a bit tight especially the shower cubicle. The walls were very thin and we could hear next door talking & snoring!! The b&b is situated on a main road so traffic noise is bad although this may... More
