My sister and I just came back from a 10 day trip driving around Ireland. I had had problems finding a B&B around Ballina and booked this B&B because I couldn't find anything else. What a gem! Its photo on the webpage does not do the house (and flowers) justice! Mary O"Dowd was a wonderful owner who spent time with us; she was genuinely friendly and warm and had great suggestions for restaurants. Our bathroom was very large by B&B standards and the shower was easy to operate. Our room overlooked the quay and a large pasture with cows roaming around...very idyllic setting. There is road construction leading to the house, and it can be challenging to find it, but well worth the effort.
