I stayed in this hotel for one night and it was enough. The good first I can not fault the staff or the food, both were excellent and very very helpful they treated us like family. The Hotel was cheap and we got a good breakfast in the morning included in the price. The room we were in was dirty... more

If you're looking for great value, good food and excellent service, then the Courthouse Hotel may be the place for you. The room could do with some updating but you can't beat them for value for money. What really makes this hotel special is the fact that the staff simply want to make sure that you have a great stay.... more

Stayed at the Courthouse in late June for long weekend with a group of friends in 4 rooms. No complaints from us at all. Great staff, great breakfasts, welcoming bar area. Very centrally located in town. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Manager went over and above normal duties to make our stay a pleasant one. more

My husband and I had the good fortune to select the Courthouse Hotel from the Web before setting out from Cork for a 3 night stay in Ballina. Firstly, the location was perfect as we travelled Bus Eireann, 3 mins. brought us to the most friendly hosts one could meet. We shared a most comfortable bedroom, complete with ensuite, T.V.... more

Stayed at this hotel for one night on business trip. Was recommended by business colleague for it's value for money. Its not the Hilton. But it is a good 2*hotel at only €45 B&B. Ask for one of the rooms which have just had the bathrooms renovated - they could stand up to any 3 or 4 star hotel. Some of... more

We just spent a week (during the annual Salmon Festival) at the Courthouse in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland. I have always done B&B's, but my travel companions prefer hotels. We found the Courthouse to be the perfect combination! Michael, our host, treated us as if we were guests in his own home, and could not do enough for us. The... more

I had occasion to be in Ballina recently for 2 days on business, I had left it late to book a hotel and while driving through spotted The Courthouse Hotel opposite, funnily enough the actual town courthouse. As I couldn't stop I got phone number later from enquiries and asked if they had a single room for 2 nights, they... more

I have stayed in the Courthouse several times when in Ballina on business and have found the staff very friedly and obliging. Nothing is too much trouble. It is an old building but well maintained with tasteful modern touches - I will definitely be back!! more
