I had booked Atlantic Point in Bundoran after being told that Bundoran was a seaside resort town. It was not what I expected. Atlantic Point is a high rise apartment complex that directly faces an amusement park with a roller coaster and go-carts. This park runs until 11 pm at night. The apartment itself was billed to have "sea views" but no one told me that the sea views were through a roller coaster. The windows could not be opened because of the noise and the smell of fried food. Towels were not included, we had to ask for them and then were told that we should have known they weren't included. There was an almost used up roll of toilet paper--and no more provided. To be fair, the apartment itself was clean and well-appointed. Although the town itself is busy and way too noisy for my taste, there are nearby towns that are beautiful and Tullen Strand and the Roughy Walk are very nice. more
