I stayed in The Oceans Sands for the second time in two years earlier in this month with a large group of people and it was excellent. We were taking part in the Sligo Coral Festival. Their was 60 of us staying there and there was no complaints from anyone. The area is perfect as the hotel backs on to... more

My wife and I recently celebrated her 70th birthday in Enniscrone, where she spent much of her childhood....we visit once a year from the States, and we were delighted to see a state of the art facility built right on the beach,in the middle of town. We decided to have an open bar/'fingertip' food, live music birthday party there after meeting... more

Stayed here for a night at the end of October 09, the room was fine, nothing special. Smelled a little bit of smoke and did not feel as fresh as i would expect. Booked late so the rate was a bit over the usual price which is why I am being critical. for teh price I paid i would have expected... more

The hotel is ideally located for the beach and the excellent seaweed baths. We were in a group of 12, and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The restaurant had a wide selection of food, and the bar is very roomy. At one point we had thirty five people (extended... more

The views from our appartment were stunning, floor to ceiling windows provided a panoramic view of the sea. However, inside the appartment, things were not as impressive. You would excep in in an appartment with a 4 star rating to find the basics, such as bins in the toilets, working lightbulbs, and tea towels. None of these were provided. 3... more

Stayed here on a recent trip to Ireland. Nice clean hotel with good view & access to beach. Staff were helpful & entertainment at night was good. Breakfast was of a high standard. Room was clean & reasonably priced. I would recommend this for a weekend break & the surf is not bad either. more

I booked accommodation for 2 nights for Friday, Saturday for a group of friends as we were attending a wedding. The only problem was the hotel did not mention when I booked or checked in that they were having debs events on both the Friday and Saturday night. They consciously decided not to tell us as we were going to... more
