Clean, well equipped and the friendliest staff in a convenient location. Not the most modern but nevertheless excellent value for money. Free Wifi is a little patchy but fast enough. Located on main road so there is a little late evening and early morning noise. No minibar bur who needs one in Ireland! Easy unrestricted parking outside.

The reviews I had read were mixed so I my expectations weren't overly high. We were able to book three nights at the last minute. The rate was reasonable. The location is excellent. Within walking distance of many restaurants and music pubs. A short drive to Inchedoney Beach. An easy drive to lovely West Cork areas such as Kinsale or... More

Stayed in this hotel for two nights with a group of friends. The hotel is very convenient as it is very near the town centre. The hotel is a bit jaded and could do with a bit of updating but the staff, particularly Emma, were excellent. The breakfast was very good and set you up for the day. Unfortunately only... More

Stayed here for one night recently. Hotel itself is dated, the rooms in particular. The mirror in our room was broken as was the hairdryer. That said it seems to be in the process of being done up, the lovely dining room has been recently renovated. The staff are very friendly and helpful, its in a fantastic location, just needs... More

This we choose the wrong hotel this night. Rooms dated, could do with a little update, just didnt feel clean, found items from previous guest in the wardrobe!. the breakfast was excellent & the staff at breakfast were friendly. Clonakilty is such a lovely town & we will go back, but maybe next time we will try another hotel.

This was a last minute check in as we were only meant to stay in Clonakilty for 1 night. Nice reception area. No hassle in getting a room. Nice freshly cooked breakfast. Would have no problem in staying here again.

Wouldn't have chosen to personally stay here but at a wedding and only available hotel left. The staff are friendly and helpful but it really is skeleton staff. The hotel is so dated and our room really smelt like it had never being aired which was not good. But it was clean and great location. So for that reason it... More

Stayed for two nights, already had read the mixed reviews but was willing to take a chance, rooms for the weekend were advertised as from €95 B&B, yet went up to €100 online reservation through their web(apparently only 3 left). On arrival we were checked in by manager Ivan, very friendly and very helpful. Room was basic and clean on... More

If I have one recommendation to you, you have to visit Clonakilty in West Cork. My next recommendation is please DO NOT stay at the Clonakilty Hotel. I have had the pleasure of travelling the world and have stayed in all sorts of accommodation and can hand on heart say this is one of the worst. The hotel is marketed... More
