Perryville House in Kinsale was a lovely surprise - its website and some user reviews just do not do it justice. The inn is elegant, comfortable, friendly, and convenient. Our room (and many others - I peeked) are large and bright, with floor to ceiling windows and fabulous views over the harbor. The inn was very quiet and we slept... more

Centrally located, Perryville House is really a manor house, not a hotel or B&B. It is family owned and managed and the family guards its property zealously. My sister and I travel in Ireland yearly and have for the past decade. We have stayed at all manner of hotels, inns, etc., from The Shelbourne in Dublin, Park Kenmare in Kerry... more

8 of us just returned from a wonderful golf vacation around SW Ireland. The worst place we stayed was at the Perryville in Kinsale. I have stayed at many B and B's throughout the world, and never have I experienced a place which tried to cut corners and offered so little None of our 7 rooms had as much as a... more

We stayed in Kinsale at the Perryville House for one night with 2 other couples. My husband and his buddies wanted to golf at Old Head, one of the most beautiful (and expensive - over $300 to play a round) courses in the world. I spoke with Andrew, the owner of Perryville House, to make hotel arrangements, and he graciously... more

Perryville House is billed as a "luxury guest house" and while it is a decent place to stay, I have certainly stayed in better, less expensive places. The decor of this accommodation is as advertised and you can tell that a lot of thought and effort went into making it homey, full of antiques and very "country chic". Our host... more

Our group of four just returned from Ireland. We stayed for five nights at The Perryville House. Management couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We have stayed at the Perryville before and will continue to do so. Right in the heart of Kinsale and close to so many wonderful sights. more

The only reason we stayed here was that all other suitable accommodation in Kinsale was booked. We were offered the best room at a discount. Despite an oversized room and bathroom, still, value was not good. This first floor room was noisy from the road and there was no cooked breakfast available. The internet did not work. The hostess did... more

LOCATION: The location is great. It is on the main street but I didnt notice any traffic noise, at least from my room. ROOM: We had the room on the website (with the poster bed) and as a result probably one of there better rooms. The room was nice and large, and much larger than the only other room I... more
