I recently organised a Hen Party for 27 ladies @ the Blue Haven so needless to say I had a lot of contact with both Toni & Naimh at reception to coordinate the perfect weekend - everyone I spoke with, emailed or met couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too big an ask! :) The weekend itself was fabulous,... Ok , so I used work here- irelevant. My Wife , 3 kids and I just had a meal here and it was faultless , the service and genuine friendly nature of the staff towards us and the guests around our table was commendable , exactly the ', cead mile Failte' that Irish hotels and business's strive for - the... We paid a little more to stay here than we had in the rest of Ireland. We have to admit we were a little disappointed with the quality of the accommodations. In addition there was work being done in the café below our room until 9 PM at night. The music in the pub was great. The parking is abysmal.... More

We recently spent a night in The Old Bank House, part of the Blue Haven Hotel, in Kinsale. Our room was absolutely fabulous, spacious, modern decor, extremely comfortable beds and beautiful bed linen, etc. We had a generous en suite with lovely toiletries supplied. Tea and coffee, etcwith biscuits were on a tray in the room.Next morning the included breakfast... More

I ate here twice in one day over the past weekend. Firstly to escape from the rugby field for an hour and sat at the bar and had a large bowl of probably the best bowl of seafood chowder in the world, well maybe I was cold and extra hungry but it was darn good. That evenin my son and... More

The hotel and it's facilities wonderfully represent the amazing town of Kinsale. It is gastro heaven with a great atmosphere. The staff are clearly trained to a high standard as they couldn't be more helpful. It wasn't my first visit and it won't be my last.

We received vouchers to stay here for two nights. We had a great time. There was no room in the hotel so we stayed in their Georgian guest house close to the hotel and were able to use the hotel or coffee shop for breakfast. We ate here and the breakfast was gorgeous! Also had a meal in the hotel... More

Blue Haven has a great location in the historical section of town, near the upper end of the harbor.  We were able to find street parking close to the hotel and never used the off site lot. The staff was very helpful. We booked a dinner package with our room and were pleasantly surprised by our meal. It was excellent;... More

We got married in Feb and had our Reception in this wonderful Hotel. I cannot say how fantastic a location this hotel is for a nice small intimate wedding reception. From the minute we met with Declan and John (the Head Chef) we knew The Blue Haven was going to be the place we chose for our Wedding Reception. John... More
