The road in front of the Old Presbytery was being repaired and a new water line installed during our stay. However, the owners were pleasant and worked around the inconvenience. The rooms were clean. Best B&B breakfast we had during our trip. They do provide plenty of food and the "catch of the day" was wonderful. Cute dining room with... more

My sister and I spent one night at the Old Presbytery. Our only disappointment was that it was only for one night! We loved Kinsale and we loved the Old Presbytery. it was charming, welcoming, quaint and friendly... We loved the old building and all the character it provided - layout and decor. We stayed in a room at the... more

Philip and Noreen are excellent hosts. This converted old church building built long ago and converted to a Bed & Breakfast is charming and elegant and very, very comfortable and quiet. All the conveniences that one would expect.....including the charm of the accommodations and the hosts. The best breakfast of our entire 10 day tour of the South of Ireland.... more

Just spent 3 very relaxing days at the Old Presbytery/Kinsale. Food excellent, the fresh fruit bowl highly recommended. Staff friendly and helpful. Kinsale has plenty of good walks. We did the Compass Hill walk and also walked to Charles Fort. more

Our experience of the Old Presbytery was excellent. The location was great - just a few minutes to the town centre. We stayed in a family suite which was spotlessly clean with very comfy beds and great showers. We even had a lovely clawfoot tub in one of our rooms. Breakfasts were great - the best scrambled eggs ever! Philip... more

We just returned from Kinsale and were pretty much disappointed overall with the town and accomodations. We did not have hot water or water for that matter on 3 of the days that we were there. You had to judge when a good time would be to take a shower but it didn't matter - morning or evening you ran... more

We stayed only one night at the Old Presbytery. A beautiful old building and by far the nicest room we stayed in, but also the most expensive. A canopied bed, little private balcony, lots of parking, an outdoor seating area for guests. The hosts were very warm and accomodating. Easy walking distance to everything in town. While Kinsale itself was... more

My husband and I stayed a few days during our honeymoon. Our overall experience was very good. The B&B is in a good location to reach everything by foot and the owners could not have been nicer. We were not feeling well so we only had one breakfast, which was very nice. Our one concern (not really a complaint) was... more

Good sized room was at top of three flights of stairs, limited parking when we were there (it was apparently a full house), smallish bathroom. Best breakfast we had in Ireland. more

The Old Pres was clean and accomodating, although not entirely to our tastes! If you like twee, old fashioned, victorian styles, then you will really love this B&B however! We paid €90 for our room, which unfortunately was up 5 flights of stairs! This did mean that we had a sea view however, which was nice. The staff were really... more
