Much as I hate the word, "charming" describes the Old Presbytery perfectly. The breakfast was one of the most memorable I've had. more

We arrived on the late side but Noreen was extremely accommodating; she immediately showed us our room & gave us an excellent dinner recommendation in town. She also responded quickly to emails we sent prior to the trip. The Old Presby has a lot of character & warmth. It's a quick walk into town in a safe area, but away... more

We loved the Old Presbytery. One of the reasons I decided to stay there was the parking lot. Especially after seeing the parking in the town I was extremely happy we didn't have to worry about parking. Once inside the old Presbytery is such a welcoming and comfortable place. We got two rooms which were both very comfortable. The first... more

After a daunting first day in the rental car from Dublin to Kinsale, we were thrilled to arrive at the Old Presbytery. The owner, Noreen, was very friendly and helpful, and helped us with the town, the culture (tipping can be confusing in Ireland vs. the U.S.), and even some reservations for dinner at Fishy Fishy Cafe (another must in... more

My wife and I and our two children stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it very much. This was the nicest place we stayed in during our trip to Ireland. Our first night was in a suite on the second floor and the accomdations - two bedrooms, a sitting room, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms (one with tub &... more

We just stayed one night at the end of July. The room was fabulous - overlooking the courtyard and garden. Huge bed, lovely ensuite and beautifully decorated - very personal touches and classic furniture. You can tell this is a place that is loved by the people who run it. Fantastic breakfast. Noreen was very welcoming when we checked in... more

I relied on the many reviews on tripadvisor for locating lodging for our family vacation to Ireland with a stop in Kinsale. Noreen & Philip along with their daughter were the most kind and generous people that we had the pleasure of meeting. The reviews are right. The kids loved this quirky guesthouse with all it's rooms and hallways and... more

I have just returned from an incredible Irish holiday with my partner, parents and cousin and The Old Presbytery was an amazing home base while we were in Kinsale. Charming does not even begin to describe how wonderful the place is. Noreen and her family went above and beyond with delicious breakfasts, beautiful, clean rooms, and excellent recommendations on the... more

really good B&B in center of kinsale. parking. old style decor in the rooms. very comfortable. €90 for 2 persons for one night a bit pricey but the whole area seems expensive as it is a touristy town. breakfast was delish - crepes filled with fruit, scrambled eggs with either cheese or salmon, and of course the full irish. more

We could not have asked for a better stay than the Old Presbytery! Noreen was quick to respond to emails when we booked, and John even had us follow him to Cork when we left - the roads/signs (mostly lack thereof in the sign department) are quite challenging in Ireland and John got us safely on the way to Dublin!!... more
