The Old Pres was clean and accomodating, although not entirely to our tastes! If you like twee, old fashioned, victorian styles, then you will really love this B&B however! We paid €90 for our room, which unfortunately was up 5 flights of stairs! This did mean that we had a sea view however, which was nice. The staff were really... more

Had a most enjoyable stay, the room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Phillip & Noreen were lovely genuine people & nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic and I would most definately recommend to my friends & family. Will be visiting again shortly. Helen & Glynn (wales) more

If we had known how much we would love Kinsale, we would have stayed longer. I guess we'll have to go back :) Oh well! The Old Presbytery was a great stay on a long journey through Ireland. Our host and hostess were very friendly and helpful and my husband bonded with the family dog. Our room was beautiful and... more

We spent 2 nights in October of 2007 here and it was our favorite B&B that we stayed in throughout Ireland. Kinsale is a wonderful town that is well worth spending a few nights in. I can't express enough to you though how tiny it's streets are and how confusing it is to drive in it. The location of the... more

Wow, wow, wow! After a long day of driving from Dublin (a very tiring and taxing experience), we arrived at The Old Presbytery to be greeted warmly by Noreen and shown to our GREAT room complete with a canopy bed, jacuzzi tub & balcony. The house is incredible, as was the traditional Irish breakfast the next morning. The town itself... more

My boyfriend and I stayed for just one night at this B&B last week. Our room was quite spacious with a sitting room and a jacuzzi tub. We were the only room on the first floor and were afraid it would be noisy, but it was not. We had a small hallway to enter before getting to our room and... more

This is a wonderful small hotel in a charming town. It is the perfect base to tour County Cork and Eastern Killarney. The Innkeepers are delightful and full of valuable tips, especially regarding local restaurants, among the best in Ireland. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The breakfasts are exceptional. Free internet access is available and wireless too... more

The Old Presbytery was our third B&B in Ireland - all based on recommendations from Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Excellent location for walking about town and beyond. One of the highlights of our 16 days in Ireland was the Scilly walk from Kinsale to Charles Fort. The path through Summercove to the Fort is spectacular. Don't miss the... more

We stayed int he Old Presbytery a single night during our trip to Ireland, as we made a last minute change to include a stop in Kinsale. The Old P was a good choice. We ended up with a spacious room that included a balcony with a nice town view, and a bath with jacuzzi. Our hosts were great about... more

What we, a family of 7, remember most about The Old Presbytery was its location in the "tidiest town" in Ireland. With just one van between us, it was important to us to be able to walk to sights and restaurants without worrying about sticking together or having to share the vehicle. Many well-reviewed B&B's in Kinsale have hill-top views... more
