great location just a 3-5 min walk from downtown Kinsale. Accomodation was clean and spacious and the hosts were very helpful. Kinsale is a fantastic town with plenty to see and do. Cloisters is a great place to stay if you want to walk to all the sites. The streets are narrow and parking is lousy in Kinsale, and the... more

My daughter and I stayed at the Cloisters for 2 nights in June. Our room was absolutely beautiful with both a full-sized and a twin bed, as well as a dressing area and large bathroom with tub/shower. The room was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The location of Cloisters is perfect, just a short stroll down to... more

I stayed at Cloisters for 2 nights last weekend and was more than satisfied. Kinsale was everything I hoped for and Cloisters was everything I wished for! The hosts were pleasant and enjoyed the fact that all guests at the 4 dining tables interacted with each other. I felt that this was the result of such pleasant surroundings. The place... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cloisters for three nights and we both agreed that it was a fantastic B&B. The location couldn't be better - less than a five minute walk to any and all spots in Kinsale. Close enough to the heart of town but just behind the action so there were no issues with noise/parking/etc. As... more

Excellent B&B. We really enjoyed talking to John. The location is fantastic as it's only a short walk to the bay. Rooms were spotless and well decorated. Breakfast was great. A great value. more

The Cloisters B&B was the best we stayed in during our entire trip to Ireland. From looking at the picture of the B&B on the outside, I didn't expect it to be so lovely inside. Was I wrong! The queen sized bed was the most comfortable we ever had and it was quite difficult to leave it in the morning!... more

Its located very close to everything. Walking to all the great restaurants and Pubs. Since we were only there 1 night we just walked... more

Since the first contact with Mairead, Cloister's owner, everything was perfect. She was very helpful and a week before our arrival she send us instructions on how to get there, since the city had been under major roadwork. So, as you can imagine, our arrival was perfect. Mairead and her husband were extremely nice. The house was comfy and the... more

Stopping in for only one night- the beautiful town of Kinsale might have been our favorite Irish relaxation destination. John and Mairead were the perfect guides- directing us to a can't miss evening of music at one of the local pubs and some of the best fish ever at Fishy Fish. The location is wonderful- just a three minute walk... more
