While not right in town, but a short 5 minute drive to the center of town, Riverwood is an entirely great place. Situated on grounds adjacent to Adare Manor, it is quiet, enjoyable and the owner, Christina, was most accomodating. When I advised by email that we'd be staying on my wife's birthday and asked for advice on a restaurant for a celebration dinner, she naturally recommended the Arches restaurant in Adare (owned by her husband John). She even arranged a reservation, a surprise cake, and kept the secret when we arrived. The restaurant is also an excellent choice for anyone looking for the "right place". Both Christina and John exhibited great personalities and made our short stay memorable. When we go back to Adare, we'll be sure to stay at Riverwood again. I heartily recommend Riverwood to anyone visiting Adare. more
