We stayed here for one night and enjoyed the experience from begining to end. Room, staff and food were all top notch and we will return. I would have rated it 10 out of 10 except for the cat. I have a phobia of cats and this one seemed to be in every room I entered downstairs! I understand this... More

We wanted one very special place on our trip to Ireland.. this was our special place to stay. Kind of castle like, very special it was. The people that worked there were all just wonderful. We had a lovely room over looking the gardens in the front. The food was just amazing! It truly was a very special place. It... More

We stayed for one night during over the winter, and this place really is perfect for those dark winter nights when you want to cosy up to the fire and read a book. One abiding memory is reading with a glass of wine beside the fabulous fire! The owners are great hosts, very friendly and tremendous fun! We got a... More

My partner and I just returned from a night at Echo Lodge and I am already trying to plan a return, longer visit. As a self-confessed foodie, I am happy to report that the food in the Mustard Seed is excellent, with a seasonal, balanced menu, perfectly executed. The wine list is also impressive, if a little pricey, but the... More

Who needs to look for a pot of gold when you can eat out of the kettle at the Mustard Seed! We stayed 2 nights and had the most wonderful culinary treat in Ireland. Our dinners were elegant and the cuisine was a gourmet's dream. Breakfasts, lunch and tea were served with the hospitality deserving of a princess. If your... More

This Hotel is charming - the hosts are charming and the dining is excellent. Rooms are spacious, mine had 18thC shutters on the windows. Although it is a big house, it is cosy with open fire and bags of soft comfortable spaces to sit. The athlete in our party was advised of different runs which could be done. A walk... More

We chose the Mustard Seed as the venue for my husbands 40th birthday getaway, our first 2 night break without kids in 7 years had to be a special place! The Mustard Seed did not disappoint, from the minute we arrived we were spoiled rotten. Before we even had a chance to ring the doorbell, the front door was swept... More

We had reserved their smallest room in an effort to save money. The inn was not full, however, and they voluntarily gave us a larger room which was quite nice. Upon our arrival, we were given some tea and cake which was lovely. We relaxed in a pretty conservatory decorated in a quirky country house style. The town of Ballingarry... More

Myself and my husband had the pleasure of staying at Echo Lodge during the August bank holiday this year. We also reserved a table for dinner. We booked the room late, and got the last one due to the weekend that was in it. We were warned that it was very small and that you could just about swing a... More
