We had a very large room; it was very clean and they had a Pack & Go playpen/crib for us to use for our infant son. I absolutely loved staying at the Berkeley Lodge in beautiful Adare. It was so delightful, comfortable and very clean. Berkeley Lodge was the first Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed, and it set the "Bar High" for future trips. Our hostess, Bridie was delightful, familiar with Adare, suggested great places to eat and visit. Her breakfast was warm and tasteful. Would love to return to Ireland and of course Berkeley Lodge. The biggest problem with this place was the tiny room with two small squeaky beds right next door to two other rooms. Not a lot of privacy for a romantic trip. The owner wasn't there when we arrived, and we didn't meet her until the next morning. The food was good, but not as good as some of the other... more

Just returned from the berkeley lodge found it delightful. Bridie is so accomadating. Very clean and great breakfasts. more

Nothing fancy, just good food, nice room, good location and, during 8 chilly nights in Ireland, this was the only place I slept where I was warm all night. more

Berkeley Lodge is on a quiet street within easy walking distance to restaurants and pubs and right across from a grocery store. Our room was on the first floor and was very nice. Breakfast was served in a lovely garden room. The B&B was fine, but unfortunately I didn't find much to recommend the town. I don't shop, so perhaps... more
