We booked sunnybank for a week in March for a family reunion. I was very hesitant about organising a self catering holiday because you feel responsible for the expectations of everyone in the party and sometimes the houses can be quite commercial by way of design and furnishings and not exactly a home from home ! We stayed at Sunnybank House at the end of May. There were 20 of us, celebrating a friend's 40th birthday. Shane, the owner, opened the pool for us- it is usually only open from June. We rented this wonderful house in Connemara with friends. Owner Shane was charming and helpfull. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Clifden and look forward to returning to Sunnybank soon. H more
