I stayed at Faul House with my sisters and cousins - there were 6 women in our party. We were visiting Ireland for the first time. Kathleen and Michael couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly! Michael & Kathleen Conneally are your hosts at Faul House. It's a quaint farmhouse where you will be made most welcome. Kathleen's breakfasts are excellent including salmon with poached eggs. Kathleen and Michael were gracious hosts and the breakfast was very good. The beds, however, were the worst I have ever slept in. We all woke up sore in the morning and couldn't get a good nights sleep with the mattress springs poking us all night long. We were exhausted during the day which spoiled our itinerary. more

We really enjoyed our stay at Faul House. Gracious hosts, great breakfasts (really!), very roomy family room, nice location just outside of Clifden and within reach of all the major Connemara activities. We would recommend this place without hesitation to anybody planning to visit Clifden. more

A really nice place to stay very freindly people, and the rooms were very nice great breakfast with free range eggs from there own hens would stay there again more

My husband and two daughters stayed for one night, perfect gorgeous farm, visit the Connemara ponies and walk down the lane to the bay. Kathleen and Michael are relaxed, charming Hosts.
