Grand - had connemara ponies that were very friendly. Great place to walk around with the horses and see the views, rock walls, and the sea. Chickens and sheep were running around. Quaint and comfortable b&b. Got to sit by a peat fire - smelled good. Grand breakfast in the morning of traditional irish or pancakes. Fruit and juice bar... more

This was the 5th B&B we stayed in on our 2 week trip to Ireland. The Faul House Farm was all of the following and more... lovely, clean, accommodating, bright, warm, inviting, friendly, charming, efficient, safe. I felt as though I had been transported to another time....Kathleen and Michael were very thoughtful, warm, personal and helpful. I felt as if... more

I stayed at Faul House with my sisters and cousins - there were 6 women in our party. We were visiting Ireland for the first time. Kathleen and Michael couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. I will certainly return to Faul House when I make a return trip to Ireland... more

Admittedly we stayed at Faul House just before the Connemara Horse Show, but we didn't really feel welcomed. It seemed all the rooms were full and as we had our dogs with us, we were not able to sit in the lounge at all, so didn't feel anyone was particularly friendly, except for Michael (who runs the place with his... more

They went out of their way to improve our time in Clifden, offering information and chatting with us. The room was airy, spacious, clean, and just lovely with a big,... more

Michael & Kathleen Conneally are your hosts at Faul House. It's a quaint farmhouse where you will be made most welcome. Kathleen's breakfasts are excellent including salmon with poached eggs. Rooms are adequate in size and accommodations but very clean. The views from the breakfast room of the surrounding mountains are beautiful. They are located just up the mountain outside... more

Kathleen and Michael were gracious hosts and the breakfast was very good. The beds, however, were the worst I have ever slept in. We all woke up sore in the morning and couldn't get a good nights sleep with the mattress springs poking us all night long. We were exhausted during the day which spoiled our itinerary. more
