My wife and I stayed for two nights at Mallmore and were delighted with the place. A charming, family-run house. Superb service and hospitality, great room, with a magnificent view, beautiful grounds (including a paddock with very frisky yearling Connemara pony). Great value. We shall definitely return. more

We stayed at Mallmore House recently. The property and the house itself are lovely. The hostess also was very pleasant and lovely. We also really enjoyed breakfast. My only disappointment was the room and bathroom which were quite small, and not particularly welcoming. However, it was a pleasant stay, just the same. more

We stayed in Mallmore House for two nights at the beginning of June. My friend did not know where we were going and he was blown away by the entrance and the drive through the wonderful property. The pleasure was only starting. We were warmly greeted by Alan, and our room felt like a castel! It was huge, confortable, decorated... more

My mother and I stayed here for two nights earlier this month. The property is gorgeous - the backyard extends down a hill and to the water. The room we stayed in was quite large. The breakfasts were delicious, and I had some of the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. Kathleen and her daughter were so friendly... more

We spent a weekend in Connemara and stayed two nights at Mallmore House. We were amazed when we arrived - the place was so cosy and neat! The hosts were very welcoming and always had a smile on their face. They were happy to give directions to local places of interest. We had a double room (#2) looking out to... more

We spent 2 nights at the Mallmore House in Clifden and were generally pleased with our stay. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and the grounds surrounding the estate were beautiful. Our room was very large with a great view of the garden and of the nearby bay. The only real suggestion we would have to the owners would be... more

We stayed at Mallmore House for one night on a sunny weekend in May. We had Room 1, which had a double and two single beds, and two armchairs looking out over a fabulous view - wine glasses were provided... it was a pity we didn't have any wine with us to enjoy looking out on the garden. All was... more

Mallmore house is an excellent place to stay. The house is beautiful located. We had a very large family room with a bow window. The view from our room was marvellous. Kathleen, the hostess, is a very welcoming person and gives very good suggestions to visit places which you would never find in the travel guides. Breakfast was one of... more

We loved this place, 17th century manor house type building set in beautiful grounds on edge of Clifden. Our room was huge with comfortable 5 foot bed, settee etc. TV/DVD player in room. Full length windows looked down across the lawn to the river inlet. Large sitting room with open fire for guests, DVDs & books to borrow, and tea/coffee... more
