Arrived at hotel with our two sleeping children having returned from italy on a late flight. We went to our family room and i was shocked that the room was so unclean. The walls were very dirty with unknown subtance splattered on the walls. the carpet was not clean and we even found a piece of tuck biscuit on the carpet.... more

Upon checkin we were greeted with a friendly and very informative receptionist called liz. She provided excellent information on local amenities in the local area. Bunratty banquet is a must.... The atmosphere in the bar was one of a typical Irish bar with friendly staff and customers. The rooms were clean and comfortable and there was always plenty of hot... more

Had to change rooms as the hot water in the first room did not work. Internet connection amounted to a weak intermittent wireless signal next to the Reception Desk. No clock in the room. No direct outside line access. Had to use the receptionist - at 32 cents per minute for local calls. We met friends in the downstairs pub... more

Dear. Ms. O Sullivan, Thank you for your recent email highlighting some issues you had on your stay with us. I would like to address some of your points if I may: 1. You were checked in to Room 310 and reported that there was no hot water and moved to another room. On investigation of that problem, the plumber...

We were looking for a hotel close to Shannon airport, as our flight to Newark left early in the morning. The reception staff at the hotel when we booked in were really not friendly or helpful. We'd asked for a non-smoking room, but the one we were given stank of smoke. It looked out on to a housing estate, there... more

This hotel is very close to the airport. The rooms are clean and spacious & the staff are friendly and very helpful, dispite all they have to put up with. It was pretty evident that the major problem with this hotel is the restaurant. Firstly it's chinese, (i dont know many people who come to ireland to experience chinese food)... more

Having stayed in this hotel and in the Oakwood Arms I would have to say that I much preferred this hotel. The room was larger, better lit and had a double bed unlike the single provided in the Oakwood. The was simple and classic and did not hurt my eyes! The room smelled and looked clean and fresh. When I... more

***Avoid at all costs*** My partner and I stayed at this hotel whilst he worked in Shannon for three weeks. The reception staff were unhelpful and ignorant. Everything is overpriced. We suggest going elsewhere for a drink on an evening. The atmosphere on an evening is vile and quite frightening - my partner was threatened as he left the toilets... more

I really dont understand the bad comments people have given this hotel. Myself and my wife stayed there for 2 nights and i cant think of one bad thing to say about it. On check-in we were given a warm welcome by Liz at reception, i have to admit we may have annoyed with all our questions but she answered... more

Quick overnight stay before flying off to Barcelona. What a great idea to stay at the Shannon Court Hotel. It started our holiday off before we left Ireland and this awful weather. Had a few drinks in the bar before heading to bed for our early departure. The bar had a great atmosphere and good music. Our room was spacious... more

Choose this hotel because I had an early flight, when I checked in the gir at reception charged me full price (I had paid a deposit on the booking site) and when I brought this to her attention she blamed the site and didn't apologise. When I got to my room it stank of smoke and I rang down and... more
