We stayed in this small hotel for the weekend- bit of a warren, I think it has 16 rooms in total. We were lucky that we were given Room 12, the family room which is a great size and has been very recently redecorated. Rooms 1 & 10 are nice too, Room 4 is pretty small. All are furnished with lovely 4 poster/sleigh beds and freestanding wardrobes and dressing tables- nice touches too, a jewellery tray on the dresser and a selection of books on the bedside table. Our room was directly above the bar- but the noise was only a murmur, nothing to keep you awake. Breakfast is great- and is worth coming down to no matter how much your head hurts after a night in the bar next door! Food in the pub itself is very good: bacon & cabbage, irish stew all tasted like home cooked meals, lovely Guinness too!
