I am normally a total snob when it comes to B&Bs but this place is as good as any 4 star country hotel. Spotless beyond belief, Rita is so welcoming and professional, lovely breakfast, comfortable beds, lovely ensuites. I will be back ASAP!!

If you want the best Irish B&B in the area go to Rita and John at The Rookery. Stunning, exquisitely clean rooms. Everything is kept fresh and comfortable. Rita's meals are Irishly delicious. The hospitality given to us here, was the first thing that enchanted us about Ireland and her wonderful people.

John & Rita make you so welcome into their lovely home. They are genuine and so helpful. We arrived to a very warm welcome from the B&B owner, Rita. Our room was lovely - as per the website. It was clean and the bed extremely comfortable with all the usual added extras such as tea & coffee at the bed side. Really nice B&B, beautifully decorated, friendly owner. Two minutes walking distance of Schull town, but far enough away not to be disturbed by noise.
