Just back from a stay in Abbey House, Kilkenny and I can recommend it highly. The guesthouse is lovely, with newly decorated rooms with comfortable beds and good bathrooms. we got to killkenny from cork and were lost and had to find a new place to stay, and helen was kind enough to take us in, we were tired and stressed, and she taught us how to relax, the accommodations were superb, the breakfast was 5 star, she sent us down to mount juliet country club for our dinner... more

We were pleasantly surprised to find this B&B literally a stone's throw from one of the more interesting church/cloister sites in southern Ireland. Very large rooms, very affordable and a terrific Irish breakfast. Highly recommended. more

We loved our stay at the Abbey House - possibly our favorite B&B in Ireland. The gardens are idyllic, including the babbling brook behind the property and the view of Jerpoint Abbey.
