My wife Dyan and I stayed at Ann's three nights in October. The rooms (try to get a harbor view room) are very clean and comfortable. The price was quite reasonable, Our host, Jon, was fun and interesting to talk to, from politics to local history, and gave us lots of good tips. Howth is convenient to Dublin by commuter... more

We decided to stay in Howth for the first couple days of our Irish trip because we picked up a rental car at the airport and didn't want to deal with the hassle of driving in Dublin. We also thought we'd get more for our money in Howth than Dublin. Ann's, and Howth, was a pleasant surprise that exceeded our... more

We stayed in Ann's of Howth for two days. It was a great B & B at a great price. The owner was friendly and helpful. Howth is convenient to Dublin, but is quiet and relaxing. Do not expect much of a breakfast--cold cereal, coffee, tea, OJ. But it was enough to start your day! more

I loved loved loved Howth! It is a beautiful place to stay. We stayed at Ann's of Howth bed and breakfast and we absolutley loved it! You can't find a better place to stay especially for the price. Water pressure was GREAT! John the owner was very friendly. The place is safe and clean. I would go back in a... more

We've spoken to Jonathan the owner a couple of times on our way though Howth on previous occasions and had been shown the rooms. This time we were able to avail ourselves of his hospitality. We had a spacious modern, light, twin bedded room at the front of the building with great views throuh the velux windows over the pier... more

We planned a four day trip to Dublin and decided to stay in Howth because of a friend's advice. I am so glad we did, because we absolutely loved Ann's of Howth. The area is so nice with a bunch of pubs/restaurants and no matter where you are, you have a great view. The b&b itself is very nice and... more

Ann's of Howth doesn't serve breakfast anymore. The two front rooms have a very nice view of the harbour and good showers. We payed 80 euro for each room for one night, much cheaper than King Sitric with almost the same view (but they do serve a great breakfast). We stayed at Ann's because it is close to Dublin International... more

I stayed at Ann's for the final days of a three-week trip around Ireland. I had passed through Howth briefly two weeks before and was glad that I would be returning. I was there to explore Newgrange and the surrounding area, having been in Dublin already. The B&B faces the pier, above a souvenir/ice cream shop which Jonathan and Una... more

Our last night in country Ireland was at Howth, a working fishing village just north of Dublin but close to the airport. We stayed at Ann’s Bed and Breakfast, which is upstairs from Ann’s ice cream shop on the Howth Pier. We walked around the harbor, smelled the fish, watched a seal playing under the old lighthouse, and went to... more

Ann's really is a super little place, it offers great value and whats more an outstanding location. ( Try to get one the two rooms on the front, the views of Howth harbour are really stunning.) Una and Jonathon are a really nice couple friendly and chatty, without being too chatty, and as Jonathon is a native of Howth VERY knowledgeable... more
