We have just returned from Ireland and we stayed at the Reeside for 2 nights. We arrived at about 7pm and the oweners Tom and Rena made us feel very welcome and gave us a cup of tea. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast in the morning consisted of sasuage, egg, tomato, bacon, bread, toast, jams and tea and coffee.
The property is along a quiet road off one of the main roads. This was not a problem as it was about 1/2 - 1 km away from the main road and we could not hear or see the main road. Further along the small lane is one of the larger lakes in Ireland, Ree. You can walk to it in only a couple of minutes from the property. There is plenty of parking at the property and a lovely large garden with outside seating and a lovely built stream and pond. Tom and Rena were very friendly and allowed us to look at their books, one of which Tom has written. more
