Stayed here for a quiet weekend at the start of February. it was exactly that. The surrounds of the hotel are tranquil and relaxing. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who gave us maps and walking routes and things to do and see in the area. check in was quick and we got... More

I have worked in the travel industry for many years, and have to say that this hotel ticks many boxes. For a hotel located in a very rural and relaxing location, you can sometimes fall into the trap of expecting a tired old hotel with staff set in their ways. Not at this hotel. What we couldn't get over was the coldness of the room. When we checked in and went up to the room, it was like an ice box. We were out all day walking each... More

We stayed for a very quiet weekend in January 2012. It was very nice. We were made feel very welcome and even though there was hardly anyone else staying we were made very welcome. The high light has to have been the food. It was straight forward, great, homely food. We ate there both evenings even though we had only... More

Stayed here for a night in mid December. Arrived quite late and although we had booked through a website, the hotel had never received our booking - have to say not particularly surprised not the first time its happened with that website. Anyway the staff could not have been nicer, and after apologising profusely gave us the suite instead of... More

Just returned from New Year two nights stay at Glengariff Park Hotel. The Hotel was spotless and very warm and cosy. We were welcomed on arrival by a very friendly young man and check in was quick and efficient. Our room was immaculate and warm, however the shower was cold and despite spending 5mins or so the water did not... More
